Some parts were OK…

The Seduction of Kinley Foster had a lot of great components but for me, the end product just didn’t come together right. Think of it like building a car. The car maker decides he wants to use only the best, like BMW, Mercedes and Lexus parts. Once the car maker has all the parts he wants to use, he puts them all together. With a little tweak here and a little tweak there, he gives it his own signature and make it an original. But the tweaking means that some of the parts aren

This is a case of me, not the book. I just could not identify with either main character, especially Kinley and because of that I found it difficult to get into the story. Good writing overall but not for me.

It is the age old story... we experience something in our past... either childhood or even more intensly...the teen years...and it marks us deeply. It impacts us as we mature and leaves traces of its stain on every romance and relationship attempted...And if we are honest with ourselves, which is very hard...we, at our most raw... see why all of these things are happening.

One of the hottest friends to lovers I have ever read. At one point. I think my Kindle mayhave caught fire.

One thing is for sure, if you are going to write a book about an erotic romance author and a literary agent spending a week together and exploring eroticism and sexual chemistry, there has to be chemistry.

Well done. Ian is hot. He's sexy, and sexual...he is strong and that strength is appealing...he is powerful, but not a jerk about it. More

Reviewed for herding cats & burning soup.

There was a lot of cute and cheeky with a side of sass going on in The Seduction of Kinley Foster. I'm also a big fan of enemies to lovers romances and the forbidden element of a best friends sibling so I was having a pretty good time with this one but as things went on I struggled more and more as the heroine--who is an aspiring author--attends a romance writers convention and finds out the guy she used to crush on as a teen and that broke her heart

There are so many things I love about this series, all written by different authors yet set in Vegas during a Romance Convention. Seriously sign me up ;)

In The Seduction of Kinley Foster, Kinley is attending her first romance convention with the hopes of finding an agent to make her debut into the world of erotic romance. Unbeknown to her, her brothers best friend and Kinley's first love, Ian, is also attending the convention in his capacity as a literary agent. It has been 10 years since

Thank you, Entangled!

I’ve always been curious about the behind the scenes involving writing conferences, authors, agents and editors, so this book sounded like the perfect fit for me.

“The Seduction of Kinley Forster” is actually the seduction of Ian Thompson -- Kinley’s brother’s BFF, who also happens to be the man she’s had a crush on for her entire life and a literary agent going to the same conference Kinley is attending in Las Vegas.

(Nat) Reading Romances

This is the first book by Lisa Wells that I read. The Seduction of Kinley Foster had a promising start, but there were some serious problems as the story progressed.

I never felt that the hero and heroine were ever on the same page with each other. It’s not that I didn’t like them, but some moments were really weird. I was confused. Sex scenes were good, but it was awkward to see them (view spoiler)

This was a very cute quick read! Kinley enjoys her job as a librarian but her real passion is to become a writer of erotic romances. Problem is she is lacking inspiration. Hopefully she will find something that inspires her at the romance convention she's attending in Las Vegas. What she finds is Ian Thompson. Literary agent and the man who as a teenager refused all of Kinley's advances. He wants to keep things professional. She wants a little revenge. Will they both lose or perhaps will they en ...more

Kinley Foster is a Librarian who wants to write erotic romance books. She does, in fact write a manuscript and now is headed to Vegas to a romance convention to hopefully pitch her manuscript to an agent. This book takes off immediately! She's on a plane ride that turns into a sex toy party! She's sitting beside a couple (Charlie and Dan), that host these parties. The flight alone will be have you captivated, laughing, as well as shaking your head!

Wow, this is one hot romance novel. I loved the story, characters, and pretty much everything about this book. Chemistry between Kinley and Ian is off the charts.

Kinley is a erotic romance writer. She is in Vegas to attend romance writers' convention. Ian is there to keep an eye on her, or at least that's what her brother thinks. But she is a grown woman and does not need someone to keep her out of trouble, or she thinks. But on this trip she is about to learn a lot of new things.

I loved the twist, or shall we say unusual circumstance, that Lisa Wells put into the overly used friends to lovers trope. To me, it was unique enough to attract me to reading the book. The gist of the story is two people who have known each other for ages turn their friendship into lovers. Simple, right? ... Not even a little LOL
Let me gist a few details without giving you the entire story ... At a very young age, Ian played the hero to Kinsley and we all know what happens when a young girl has

I love me a good falling for big brother’s best friend. I especially love when said best friend falls for best friend’s little sister. 10 years ago Ian rejected his best friend’s little sister Kinley. As a favor to his friend, Ian goes to the Las Vegas to watch out for her even though he knows that he’s on her shit list. Kinley is holding some major resentment toward Ian and isn’t about to let bygones be bygones. Kinley is lacking inspiration to write sexy scenes in her erotic romance. Ian is th ...more

I loved this book. Ian and Kinley had my interest peaked from the very first chapter. The barbs they traded were hilarious, and a great form of foreplay. But Ian also wanted to clear the air. Underneath his fine and hot exterior was a man with a loving heart and major attraction to his best friend's little sister. My goodness they were cracking me up with their banter. Kinley was a spit fire of a woman, comfortable in her own skin and wanting to become an erotic romance author. She was fabulous ...more

This story is about two people who have known and wanted each other for years, but have not been willing to cross that line each for their own reasons. Trying to mend a fence broken years ago, the hero helps the heroine learn about sexual chemistry, making a deal in the process. Things go awry when during the kinky sexual teachings, feelings start to develop. The sex scenes were quite steamy. The heroine was frustrating at times. I just wanted to shake her. The What Happens in Vegas novels are enjoyable reads for me. The writers, location and heat have cast an unbreakable spell on me. However, Ms. Wells takes the gold medal with The Seduction of Kinley Foster. There was not one scene that was not immensely funny. With a name like Kinley you know the story is going to be unique. When you add in the middle age sex toy peddlers it goes from rare to hilarious. I received a copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. A seductress in training fr ...more

A fantastic book with lots of sexual chemistry. I will never tire of books that find the right mix of chemistry with some great characters.

Kiley foster wants to move into the erotic novel genre and what person better to help her work out the schematics than Ian Thompson, literary agent. Ian is enough to have your kindle or paperback pages smoking with heat. Kinsey may be funny and sweet but she has a lot more sex appeal than she gives herself credit for.

4.5 stars - What a great story! I enjoyed reading next to the pool over the weekend - super quick, enjoyable read! The writing was very smooth with just enough steamy scenes for my liking. The author had me wanting to strangle my Kindle because I wanted Ian and Kinley to realize what was in front of them the entire time! Humans can be so hard-headed sometimes!

So Ian love. At first wary because of how Kinley sees him but I do love him. Ian was misunderstood by Kinley and she took a situation she didn’t know about and rolled with it. than when Ian wanted to explain she wouldn’t let him and cut him off. Cold turkey. She just couldn’t forgive him. What hogged my hooters there was that she listened to the girl and forgave her and than went and hated on Ian. So wrong girl for there are two sides to every story and y

This is the first novel I've read by this author, and after reading it, I know it won't be the last.

Kinley Foster is a librarian who wants to write romance novels. When we first meet her she's on her way to spend 5 days at a romance convention in Las Vegas, hoping to find an agent for her erotic romance novella. While she's waiting at baggage claim for her suitcase to appear, it's picked up by someone standi

This was a fun contemporary romance with a mature rating. It kept me engaged, at one point I looked at my e-reader and was at 38% and the next time I looked I was at 71%! I was definitely entertained.
I did have a few issues with the characters. Ian is 6 years older than Kinley. When he refused to sleep with it her in the past he was 22 and she was 16. Ten years later she's still angry about this and can't see that he made the right choice. Ian is Kinley's brother's best friend and Kinley is also

Coming into this, I had heard of the "What Happens in Vegas" series, where over a dozen romance authors have written stories involving a Romance Novel Convention in Vegas. But I hadn't read any of the books yet.

So, I will say "Thank You" to Lisa Wells for the sassy and sexy introduction to the series! Kinley is a character that many readers, like me, can relate to simply for the fact that she enjoys romance novels. So much that she has taken on the challenge of writing one herself. And I say "c

Kinley Foster is determined to become a published author or erotic romance. Even though she’s written her manuscript, she’s been told it’s missing something. Admittedly I don't read a lot of 'chick-lit' romances and wasn't sure whether The Seduction of Kinley Foster would be for me, but I'm really glad I did give it a go. I happened to see a few other reviews of this book and they sounded mixed, yet all seemed to agree it was pretty funny and cute.

Kinley is great, there's not many characters I love and can't fault, but with her I just loved everything about her. She's funny, cute, caring, sassy and has enough comebacks to keep a while troop happy whe

Kinley has a crush on her brothers best friend, when she was sixteen she wanted him to take her virginity. Ian was six years older then Kinley at the time. When Kinley walked into Ian home, she kissed him. Then her brothers fiancée walked out of the bedroom naked. She was hurt and mad. She ran and told her brother about the cheating couple.

Ten years later she still couldn't get her mind off of Ian. She went to a romance conference to help her with her writing of romance novels. On the plane she
