I love it when I learn something new. This book was full of several tidbits I never knew about the dollar bill. Today I learned that dollars are magnetic! How did that fact remain unknown by me all these years? Magnetic ink is used to create the bills. This is also why vending machines can detect how much money we are putting in for our treats. I never knew this, but thanks to 10 Fascinating Facts about Dollar Bills, now I do!!

Nonfiction appropriate for students ~1st-3rd grade. There are many interesting things to learn about dollars, including what it’s made of, how many single dollars there are, what they all weigh, and more. One page had some wording that I found confusing.

My kids loved the facts and I learned a few things about money as well. Not bad for such a tiny book.
