A more comprehensive field guide that is easiest used if you have some background knowledge about birds. Colour pics in standing and in flight help to make identification easier.

Bought this for a birding trip to Washington state. Both the trip and the book were AMAZING. Nat Geo field guides are definitely my favorite.

An excellent guide for birders. It has artwork for each species to really show the field marks. I really like the built in tabs to easily find the large groups of difficult birds.
