Fairly quick read - felt that there were several places that were building to a climatic point but fell flat. h's reason for anger at H was just unjustified. Could have been a bigger moment....but it was not. Really disappointing and then short ending...ok read.

I received this book for free to give my True and Honest Review

This is my first Lucy Lambert book I've ever read and yes it took me longer than I normally would but I had to keep putting it down to sort out house moving, otherwise I would've had it read with in a day, as I loved this novel to do with Charlie an English Teacher at an inner city High School and Alex a CEO who's there to try & change his playboy image, which he was dreading in doing. They Both were dreading having to do this ac

This book was Poorly Written! There were too many Grammatical Errors and I got
Case of Whiplash from the change of emotions that the characters had. The story
did not flow well and there were parts of the story that was incomplete.

Alex Crossley's character was very off putting. There's Alpha Male and then there

Charlie is a dedicated English teacher to inner city high schoolers. She busts her butt and pays out of pocket for supplies. She eats ramen to replace light bulbs in her classroom. Her students email her their essays so she can print them out. She goes above and beyond.

Alex is a billionaire and CEO of his company. He lives life they way most people assume. He has a ridiculously expensive penthouse. He eats only at fine restaurants. He beds models and gorgeous women whenever he wants. He isn't a

Charlie and Alex.
Alex is a bachelor who is billionaire. He has a fling with his secretary for months, if not years. Well that is until he does something called "CEO-in-residence" to get some good PR for his image. While he does his CEO-In-Residence he meets this teacher named Charlie Morgan, thats who hes doing his little study with.
Charlie is a teacher who loves and cares deeply for her students. Everyone says to give up on them but Charlie is different, she doesn't listen, she still loves and

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review (Thank you!).

To try and improve his image, CEO, Alexander Crossley is about to be part of a two week school program to teach kids. He assumes he’s going to be working with a male teacher, but when he meets Charlie, he’s more than delighted she’s a beautiful woman and not a man as her name suggested. Af first Charlie wants nothing to do with this school program, but as time progresses she realizes that it’s not quite so bad after all

This is my first book by this author and I can tell she’s very talented, even though I didn’t connect with THIS story. It was just missing that piece of puzzle or edge to make it a book that I'd want to come back to. The story covered Alexander Grossley, a CEO, womanizer and playboy with a lifestyle in need of a facelift. Charlotte "Charlie" Morgan, a self-absorbed teacher. Because of Alex lifestyle and reputation, his PR rec

This is an interesting love story that I really enjoyed reading! Alex is a billionaire CEO who has been naughty and due to his past transgressions he's now being forced by his PR people to clean up his image through becoming involved with the local public school. Charlie is an English teacher at the school Alex is appointed to and is the lucky girl that gets to deal with him. She isn't exactly thrilled over the situation at first, but things change as the two spend some time together. I enjoyed ...more

I always love the playboy who changes his ways with the love a good woman. Alex and Charlie's professional relationship gets personal. It is an immediate attraction but, Charlie tries to keep her first. The feelings that she feels are too strong to ignore and Alex doesn't give up easily.

Naturally, there is someone who does not wish for Alex and Charlie to have a relationship and that's Alisha. She is Alex's personal assistant in more ways than one and she's jealous and willing to
love this quote. "when we get out of here I'll let you peruse my table of contents at your leisure."
I liked Alex and Charlie. The pull toward one another was fun and flirty and sexy. The wannabe stalker and weird ex honestly didn't make sense for the small part they played. It was more juvenile than anything. I think it would of been better if the story was longer and played the drama out on this a bit more to give you that suspense to the story. I liked it tho. This was a good read but has a lo
Billionaire Alex Crossley needs to clean up his image and ends up volunteering his time at an inner city school. Charlie Morgan "wins" the honors of having Alex sit in on her classes. I enjoyed in the beginning how she tried to trip him up and punish him for intruding on her class time.

Their chemistry develops quickly, Charlie's trust issues threaten to tear him apart, as does certain aspects of Alex's work. Parts of the book were a little slow, but it was still an enjoyable read with enjoyable

I am not rating or reviewing this book because it was not to my taste. It is not to say that it was a bad book -- it just had what I like to call too much angst for my taste. There were quite a few editing issues but nothing that I couldn't get past. It really came down to the storyline for me. I choose not to give it a bad rating, just because I didn't like it. I did not finish it, though, as halfway thru I felt I couldn't get thru the rest of it. This shouldn't count against the author.

Gifted an ARC for an honest review.........
How does a billionaire BB clean up his image? This story about Alex and Charlie builds from that. This is a fast paced, fun read, not heart stoping or swoon worthy, but fun, none the less. The characters were interesting and you wanted them to get their HEA. I've not read any of Lucy Lambert's books before, but have 3 on my "To Read" list.

I liked this book. The main characters, Alex and Charlie, were a good match. Alex was a typical, hot, alpha man. Charlie was a hard-working, tough and shy, woman. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 was because of the short ending. A great read otherwise.

I give this one 3.5. The overall premise of the story is a great one. The honest truth for me is that I wasn't able to fully connect with this one. It was a quick read and I just felt like something was missing.

This book was ok, it wasn't a page turner, but it was good. The storyline felt a little lacking in places, but I really enjoyed the characters.
