This delightfully illustrated "chapter book," geared for eight-to-twelve year olds, tells the charming tale of five family members (each with a different sensory processing challenge) and their naughty dog, and how they get in sync after a tough day. This is a great book to help explain to my son about SPD. It is also a great tool to give family, friends and teachers so they can have an insight in just what SPD is, how everyone copes with it in a different way and a few things you can do to help cope and get your body functioning and being able to cope with its different sensory needs.
