This one goes under the Subtle Magic category of urban fantasy. Occasionally things happen which are clearly supernatural (and the characters recognize it and accept it as normal) but mostly life is normal: gangsters protect their territories, the Boston Blue Bloods protect their privileges, and the son of a druid comes home for his father's funeral.
