ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

Hmm, now this is an interesting read. I don't often read books where you have a world of dreams, where of course everything there is out to get you and kill you. Also the main characters are simply fascinating. The PNR really makes the story so much better, having a normal human in a dream world would be compared to this plot be just so boring and uneventful. The blurb tells you a lot about what's going to happen but there are some twists I sure didn

Remy Novem is a witch and when she is murdered she doesn't die but finds herself trapped in Somniare. Somniare is a dream landscape made up of the dreams and nightmares of the humans. Trapped Remy needs to find a human to help her escape the nightmares that surround her and find out just what happened as she has no memory of her death.

Somniare was a fun and creative fantasy read with great world building. The realm that the story takes place in is made up of dreams which can be anything from ne

Note: I received a review copy through Xpresso Tours in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influences my opinion.

I think the first thing that drew me toward this book was the cover. I absolutely love it! It is so bright and colourful and, if I had a physical copy of the book, I would probably just sit and stroke it for a while. Because apparently that's how I roll! Of course, the premise drew me in afterward and I just knew that I had to request a copy! I was also sent a set of signed

**I was given a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review**

Somniare is one of those books that is intriguing, yet also strange and, at times, confusing. I liked it, but there were a couple of times I felt like I had missed something because I wasn't sure what was going on. I had to go back and re-read a few times just to make myself understand. That might've just been me, though.

Somniare is a dream land that witch Remy sends herself to when she is murdered. Not only does she have no idea

I loved the concept of the story. You have a witch who is projected into the dream world in order to escape her murder. She has to navigate all these crazy dreams, creatures, and dangers in order to find a way out and get back into the real world. There's also a kitsune familiar, a Fae hottie, and an animated voo-doo doll from Remy's childhood. Sounds like the perfect set up, right? I suppose for fans of Alice in Wonderland or any other sort of book that hops all over the place with little to no ...more

In a dream world, anything can be expected, and this story takes that to a new and somewhat dark level.

Remy, a witch, was murdered but manages to save herself by transporting her spirit into a dream landscape. It's a place she knows well, one she visited for fun before. This time is different. Nightmare creatures are out to get her, and she can't use her magic to stop them.

Remy isn't exactly a cookie-cutter heroine; she has edges and corners sharper than a chainsaw. Her lack of compassion and

The start was great, it pulls you straight in to the story and the pace doesn't really let up. It seems like a non stop ride on the ghost train, never knowing what's going to jump out at you or when. Since Remy is stuck in the 'dream word' that's very fitting.
I wasn't sure if I liked Remy to begin with, she was too busy trying to fight or flee and I felt we didn't get a chance to really know her until later in the book. But then she meets someone, and suddenly her focus wasn't just on herself. I

This was a fab story, full of ups and downs and plenty of exciting and explosive moments. the action pretty much starts straight away and doesn't really stop until the very end.

My only problem with this book and I'm still not entirely convinced it was a problem with the book and not more with me. When I started reading Somniare I was in a bit of a reading slump and I found Somniare hard to get into and slightly confusing. However after a few chapters in I was hooked and read it all fairly quickl

I received this book free for an honest review and I couldn't finish it. I read about half of it before I finally decided that I couldn't finish it. It was very confusing at times and it never completely drew me into their world. Also I didn't really care for the characters. If I'm going to spend my free time reading a book I want it to draw me in and not release me until I finish it and this book just didn't do it for me. ...more

My review is based on the Audiobook. I really enjoyed Somniare and the Dream Realm that it takes place in. There were many different characters that Remy meets on her journey that are not your average magic creatures - shifter/vampire etc. and that was very refreshing for me. Johanna Fairview does a remarkable job as narrator. She gives each character their own distinct voice which allows the listener to easily follow the story. I look forward to more from this Author & Narrator.

This in no way influences my opinions.

I was immediately entranced by the idea of this book. I can't really think of many books that start out with the main character being murdered and then proceeding to tell the rest of the story, so to me, this aspect was really interesting and appealing!

When I actually began to read Somniare, I must sa

Remy has been murdered and instead of fully dying, she escapes to Somniare, which is a dream world. She is unable to use her magic but determined to make her way out and back to the real world.

I found this story to be very confusing throughout most of it. While we do get answers and things come together in the end, it made it really hard for me to get into. If you can bare through the confusion to find o

First of all, I requested this book personally from the author and weeks later I was accepted to review. Thank you for providing such opportunity!

The premise was so good, and almost all of the reviews are positive but unfortunately I didn't enjoy this book. I feel like cheating saying the whole book because truly I couldn't get pass chapter three of the book. While the premise is good, the writing was not to my taste. The main character had such an immature and childish voice that made me roll

Trapped in the place only dreamers go. But this is more like a nightmare. Remy was killed and to escape death she fled to Somnaire. She is a witch with powers, but she faces one treacherous turn after another. With the help of her familiar and Voo Dolly a hand made voo doo doll come to life, she searches for her way out.
I have read almost all of D.T. Dyllin’s books and I have enjoyed them all. This one is no exception. Remy starts the story very sure of who she is, but as she traverses the dange

I was disappointed by this story. It was a very intriguing concept, but it just had too much happening. If the book were longer or just had a focus on either the goblin/ witch conflict or witch/familiar relationship, instead of switching back and forth, I feel like the story would have been more successful. It was a quick read, but I found a lot of parts confusing because of the setting and addition of characters that didn't seem necessary, and that was another thing that added to the mix of eve ...more

So... yes, Remy died and now she is stuck in Somniare, a place where all your worst nightmares can be a reality. She was about to have her big night and as a witch, she was really expecting the event, however, she was murdered and now is fighting for her life back.

Litlle by little we discover this world where witches, faes, kitsunes, and magic are real. We get to witness a lot of action scenes and she is always getting into more complications trying to escape Somniare.
