4 SIZZLING HOT STARS
This was my first time reading either of these authors so I went in completely blind. I had no expectations. But as soon as I started reading the first few paragraphs, I knew this was going to be good.
Right off the bat, it starts with two people in the throes of getting down and dirty...
and not just your ordinary hook-up but between two hot, highly trained army Captains – one male and the other female - until…something rather funny,
seriously hot
and also downright uh-oh happens
that flips this story on the side and takes you for a hot, sexy, action packed adventure.
And the best part about this, while the chemistry and the sex is wild, hot, taboo and fun, there’s also a really interesting story with a dangerous, covert mission, helicopters, guns, snipers, terrorists and did I mention hot sex? And it ends on a HUGE cliff-hanger! I’m anxiously awaiting FIRE.

Ice is left on a cliffhanger, but book #2 Fire is 99 cents today and 1.99 tomorrow.
Ice was not what I anticipated it to be! I thought that it was just a military romance book but it was so much more. This book started full force and was freaking good ! I was hooked from the beginning and couldn't put it down.
Commander Kaleb Maverick and Captain Jade Eliott 's story is one rollercoaster ride with them both meeting their match. I fell hard and fast for these characters. They were great together. Their connection was explosive and the love scenes scorching HOT. I always need more than a physical connection from the H/h to make it a great love story and I did get it from Jade and Kaleb in spades.
Not a dull moment with this book. This story had me gripping my kindle in anticipation, the adrenaline pumping and kept me guessing what would happen next.
It was my first read from Kathy Coopmans and Hilary Storm and I liked their writing style, the consistency of the story line and the fact that it was very realistic. They did an amazing job! Written in such a way that will touch your soul and have you feeling the characters' pain and turmoil. Jade dealing with the aftermath of the things she had done during the mission in Afghanistan was heart-wrenching.
There’s definitely more to this book than a love story with steamy sex scenes even if all these hot guys get me sweaty thinking about them…
There is a major cliffhanger at the end, but book two FIRE will be released soon on April 26th. I definitely recommend it.

The drama is heightened as Kaleb and Jade continue to find out what love really means for both of them. This book is filled with lots of action and the story line flaws effortlessly.
This steamy read ends in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see where this couple goes next.
This book is extremely hot. Kaleb is very Alpha. And while Jade has a submissive attitude, she is also extremely independent. If you’d love a book heavy on hot, fascinating characters and a story that has you so riveted you can’t put it down, then you’re going to want to grab this one. 5 stars are not enough!

Ice was a good read for me, it promised to be a scorcher and that’s just what I got.
Captain Jade Elliott of the United States Army has worked her ass off to be where she is at. She is a top notch sniper and does her job well. She was my favorite character of this read.
Kaleb Maverick is called into command a mission. He has handpicked the team he wants to command and Captain Jade Elliott is one of the team.
The heat starts off right away with Jade needing sex. She knows she’s about to break every single one of the seven cores she has pledged. While Jade and her team member Harris start to get things on, Kaleb walks in on them before things really get heated up. He orders Jade to his tent to meet out her punishment for having sex while on duty. Jade is afraid that she will be dismissed from her post but what she gets is NOT what she was expecting and she is confused when he orders her to her knees to suck his cock. I have to say I was a bit surprised by this but I definitely felt the heat!
Here I was all ready for the action of the first mission. I thought oh yeah, here we go! But you know what? I was disappointed, it all happened too fast. I was wishing it would have been more detailed and with more action. The only thing that saved this for me was what Jade went through and I’m not going to give that away.
The middle of the book deals a lot with Kaleb’s jealousy over Jade and Harris’s friendship. We find out about why Kaleb has this all-consuming need for Jade. This is where the two of them get to know each other a whole lot better and the sex/love scenes turn for HOT to SCORCHING!
Just when things start going good for them, Kaleb gets a call from the President of the United States to go on a mission to capture a terrorist and bring him back alive. Kaleb needs two more members and he chooses Jade and Harris, the thing is, if Jade and Harris do decide to join this mission, they will have to go AWOL and give up they’re military careers.
Now this mission had the action I was craving. I was completely engrossed with what was going on. AND THEN WHAM! It happened and then OH NO! The book ends. I was not planning to read book 2 right away but the way Ice ended there is NO WAY I can wait to read Fire! So that is exactly what I’m going to do.

When reading a book, there are few things I enjoy more than a ridiculously strong female lead character. And, HOLY HELL, does Captain Jade Elliott fit the bill. Female Army Ranger? Doesn’t get much stronger than that! She’s tough, powerful and brave, yet feminine and sexy. She’s all woman, living and working in a man’s world. A world she’s thinking about leaving behind all for a hot, sexy, dirty talking man—one Kaleb Maverick.
Kaleb is a natural leader—he’s hand-picked the team he wants and needs to ensure the success of a vital mission. One of the team members is Jade, a woman Kaleb wants both for the mission and in his bed. He has it bad for Jade, and he's not worried about the success of the mission for the safety of the world. No, the mission he worries about is capturing Jade’s heart. Will he be successful, or will it be his first failure?

It was just ok
I think that what most bothered me about this book is the way the guy is so possessive. There was insta-love and I really did not enjoy that. There was just no palpable chemistry between the two characters. In the end I enjoyed the way it ended but I will not be reading the next book.

ICE was beautifully written and insanely HOT, demanding my attention the whole time until the very end. These ladies will leave you begging for more Commander Kaleb Maverick and his sexy mouth. Pick up ICE now and be prepared to be sucked in by this new Commander!

The story had promise, but I really really dislike the way the writer portrayed a CO blackmailing his subordinate into have sex with him. Such a lack of respect for the forces and what our men and women do, and the code of conduct they live by.

DAMN! This was off-the-charts HOT!
I'm still trying to cool myself down! Whew! #TooHotToHandle Right off the bat, there is so much intensity radiating off of this book. It is quick, down and dirty, and sexy as all get out! ICE was NOTHING like I anticipated. It's always hard when you are reading a new author to you. You need to get used to their writing and how they present the plot. Now, add a collaboration to that mix, and you have to figure out the flow. Well, after devouring ICE in one night, turns out, I had nothing to worry about. Storm and Coopmans ROCKED this out like badasses! I enjoyed every single turn of the page and the passion that exudes from these characters was amazing. I wanted more instantly! Talk about an introduction! Jade and Kaleb's chemistry was hesitant for about a second, and then BAM! Show's over folks...It's about to go down!
"I will own you, Jade. You will become mine."
These two were not prepared for the amount of lust they would feel towards each other. And they were sure as hell not ready for the heavy emotions that followed. Possessive is Kaleb's middle name, and he knew that Jade would be his before he even met her. Crazy right? Well, these authors made it work! I CRAVE demanding, possessive, gorgeous heroes and Storm and Coopmans gave me that and so much more. Some readers might be put off by Kaleb's ways, but it fueled me to read on faster and faster. Don't think there is no romance in erotic gem, there is plenty and that in turn will soothe your feelings towards the couple.

Hot freakin damn this book was crazy good. Kathy and Hilary found a way to make hot soldiers even freakin hotter. They killed cowriting this book. I love thay I couldn't tell who wrote what. If a book is gonna be written by two people you don't need to know who did what. It needs to flow. And this one did effortlessly.
I must confess I may have a girl crush on Jade. That chick is freakin bad ass! I love her take no shit attitude and shes not afraid to take what she wants either. Although she is tough she still has a heart and her job does get to her. I mean being a sniper can't be an easy job and shes freakin amazing at it.
Kaleb fucking Maverick! Hot alpha male bad ass that I could not get enough of. He's a bossy commander.... good lawd that man is fine... and he has a beard! Hell yes! Bonus points for the beard ladies. It freakin rocks! He's a man that can take charge and then take some more. Completely swoon worthy!!!! Okay... besides being hot he's a real freakin man. Not a boy. He takes care of his woman no matter what! This makes me love him even more and puts him in my top favorite book men.
Not only do Jade and Kaleb have great chemistry they work well as a team. Being in the armed forces requires that but they seem to take it to a different level. The opening of this read, from the very first page, had me completely hooked. A steamy sex scene was not what I expected, but exactly what I got! Holy wow was it good! Digging deeper however, you find out that it isn't just about sex. Knowing that he has made sure that she was in his unit to fight, not only because she is amazing at what she does, but because of his feelings for her, really make you forgive him for his early transgressions.
The two together? Sometimes hot as fire, others as cold as ice. But, one thing is for certain, their chemistry is through the roof. Watching them as a couple evolve in their relationship, on and off the battlefield, was intriguing.
This is the first book in the series, and ends on a cliffhanger. That really threw me for a loop, but I will definitely be waiting for the second one in the series to be released! Great beginning to a hot military series I won't miss!

I wanted a prologue..like the old Mission Impossible tv show with Kaleb going through and picking his team. Tossing aside those that won't work, and then lingering over Jade's file. Maybe then he wouldn't have seemed like such a jerk when he meet her. I almost stopped reading, but pushed through.
Kaleb/Fire and Jade/Ice were perfect together. Kaleb has a dirty mouth and not afraid to use it. Jade doesn't put up with any of his crap. On the way to a great relationship and then we get a stinking &*!@*&*@ cliffy.

I’m telling you now—you’ll need extra ice for cooling down! And while it’s beyond sexy and romantic because I expected nothing less from Kaleb (the guy can be sweet really), it maintained the military side of things which I loved as well! I swear this book had my heart racing like I ran a few miles with zombies behind me!
So to make things clear and short: ICE has it all for a military romance book—strong characters, very good story, excellent writing, off the charts sexy times and chemistry, heart-pounding, adrenaline-filled action scenes. This book will go under my all-time favorite military books and I can’t wait for FIRE!!! I highly recommend this to mil-rom suckers (like me)!

Ohhh yes....I was sooo excited to be able to read and review this book by Hilary Storm and Kathy Coopmans. These two women together just kicked ass in writing this book together!!! I just love..love their books and HAWT Dayyumm this book did not disappoint!!!

March 8, 2016What do you get when you throw two sizzling and erotic authors together in one book? Explosive! In every sense of that word, you start the book clenching your thighs and end the book clenching your kindle. Jade and Kaleb are the new couple that I expect people will try and base their sex life off of. But don't be fooled.... There's more depth to this story outside of the panty melting sex that is so descriptive, it'll leave you with mini O's. It's not too often that any author can succeed in writing a feminine yet bad ass military hero. But Kathy and Hilary killed it with Jade. While being super kick ass they managed to still portray her as lush, soft and feminine. So as a reader, I still identified with Jade. Now, Kaleb, one sexy alpha not overly done. Certainly written to be top of the line, the authors scored one for mankind by still making Kaleb a non douche. And can I just say, his pure alphaness makes me want all my girly parts to line up and adhere to his every command..... That being said, this is turning out to be an EPIC story/series. These authors wrote as if they planned and plotted for years on this. They have great consistency, plot formation very well executed and they turned this book into a seat gripper. I'm excited for the next book! Hell! The whole series! #KalebIsNowInMyHusbandHarem

Wow… is the best way to describe what I’m feeling after reading this freaking fantastic book! I wish I could give it more stars! Five just isn’t enough! This is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. The writing was superb! The story was hella good! The characters were off the charts amazing. I did not want this story to end. I was about 26% in and was sad that I had already read 26%! And forget how I felt when I finished. I wanted more! I need more! That ending….oh, my heart! Is it April yet?? Please hurry up in get here! I need more Maverick!

Holy US Army men & Women! I love a good army story but this was so much more. You have the regular army craziness due to the missions they go on but add in some hot and heavy emotions and you one hell of a story!
Captain Jade Elliott is one kick arse main character. She has worked her way to the top and has become the first women Ranger. Through all her blood sweat and tears she has reached her goal and has finally got an assignment that is going to change her life.
Kaleb Maverick is a retired commander that has his own business and team that helps people out. He is called in to do one more mission and this one will be the toughest of his life. He will have to go the extra mile and then some to save the person he loves.
What happens when Jade and Kaleb come together do to this mission? Will love spark or will danger tear them apart......

I gave this book 5 Ice and Fire Stars!!!
Holy Hotness! From the first word to the last you will not be putting it down.This book is not your typical miltary book, you have a bad A$$, strong, Alpha female, who has fought her way to the top of a Alpha Male World. She fights for where she got and takes No Sh!+ off of no one.
Jade aka Ice and Kaleb aka Fire has so much chemistry that's is off the freaking charts. I love how Kathy and Hilary included the secondary charters and we got to know them a little.
As I was reading it I loved that I couldn't tell who written what, you find alot of the times when you have co-authors. I also felt the storyline having a realism feel to it and at times I could see feel what the characters were feeling. Definitely will be following and reading what these two releases!

What an amazing wild adventure this book takes you on. I was not prepared for this at all with the past books from these two wonderful ladies. Kathy Coopmans and Hilary Storm have written 5 star books on their own, but this book is sizzling right off the pages.
Captain Jade is a strong female that every woman wants to be. Special Forces, take no shit, independent strong and beautiful all wrapped up into one package.
Commander Kaleb what woman wouldn't submit to a hot, commanding, dominating, sexy as hell man that also happens to be her superior out in the desert. What starts out as a punishment turns into something more, so much more.
This book nailed it on so many levels. Big WARNING... Major Cliffy at the end, but FIRE will be out on April 26th so you do not have long to wait! It is so very worth it!!

Wow. This book hooked me like nothing else has in ages. And that ending....!!!!
First of all, I have to say that this book has the perfect guy on the cover. I could easily picture him as Kaleb. And that just made it so much more enjoyable to read this.
I'll admit that Kaleb's actions in the beginning of the book threw me off. I totally wasn't expecting him to be that much of an asshole! I was intrigued because I was dying to know how he was going to rebound from that.
The steam/chemistry in this book was off the charts! I think Hilary Storm and Cathy Coopmans make a great team. I can't wait to read part 2 of this duet.
That ending was awful. I knew there was a second book, and I knew the chances were high that this would have a cliff of some kind, but it was brutal! So...on to Fire!!!

Holy Smokes ! This book was sizzling. Hilary Storm and Kathy Coopmans have come together and created one hell of a story. I loved this book from beginning to end. It has a lot of hot sex weaved into one fabulous story as well. I loved these two very strong and dominate characters. Kaleb and Jade are AMAZING! FANTASTIC! SEXY! and very ADDICTIVE!

5 Star Review of Ice (The Elite Forces Series, #1)) by Hilary Storm and Kathy Coopmans
This is their first collaboration together, Talk about coming out of the gate at full speed… this book is the first in the new The Elite Forces Series and what a way to start. To say this series will be a winner for Hilary Storm and Kathy Coopmans is an understatement in my humble opinion.
Captain Jade Elliott is the first female to graduate as a Ranger. Tough and determined to succeed, she has worked hard to earn the respect of her team and her superiors in Special Forces.
Kaleb Maverick has been called back to active service to act as the Commander for this top secret mission that Jade has been assigned too. Kaleb is a dominant alpha male, not afraid to go after what he wants; a successful outcome to his mission and Captain Jade Elliot, not necessarily in that order.
The continuity between the authors was seamless. I have no idea who wrote which part and honestly, it doesn’t matter. It was brilliant from start to finish.
I particularly love that Jade is so strong and dominant and yet vulnerable to Kaleb. She’s not scared to go after what she wants and yet she also has the necessary gonads to seek help when she knows she needs it.
I am in love with Kaleb Maverick, so much so that I want a Kaleb Maverick in my life.
Hot military men and women, raunchy and kinky sex; Ice has it all. The action is wild and the rollercoaster of emotions will get to you. I was on the edge of my seat particularly towards the end of the book. Be warned there is a cliff-hanger.

3 "Elite Torn" Stars
To be honest, by the time I actually was due to read this book for review, I was not wanting to read it. I was no longer in the mood, but I had signed up so I would. Then I did. It was alot better than I anticipated. I got caught up in the story pretty quickly. Best thing, the sex was hot & right off the bat. I loved this heroine being a professional military soldier. I loved that she fought for so long to make her dream. Women had a long road to see combat. I liked that she really struggled with the relationship not being on the up & up. She was really torn and should have been. As the book pointed out in real life situations, they would have ended up best case scenario sent home from deployment (no matter how indispensable they are) and losing rank. Worst case they could end up with a court martial & fined for back pay. Enough with that rant. So the couple was kinda believable. I didn't buy into the fact that just looking at her picture sunk the deal for him. Some more introspection was needed possibly for him in the beginning. I wanted more interaction besides just the sex. They talked for the horse ride? Let's hear that convo. I wanna know those details that sealed him for more than just the sex to her.
I was cursed by another cliffhanger, but I actually like cliffhangers. I think they enhance the story. I think cliffhangers also really connect you to the characters. Explosive, Sexy, and one heck of a ride!
In ICE we meet Captain Jade Elliott and Commander Kaleb Maverick, out on a mission to get one of the bad guys. The attraction to one another is instant, but getting them to like each other, now that takes a bit longer.
Jade is the first woman to graduate from Ranger school, she’s the best of the best, and she will do anything for her country. She loves what she does, and is passionate about it. I could feel how much she truly cared about her job and her country while reading this book, and I really enjoyed her determination and dedication to what she does, because it’s not an easy thing to do.
Jade’s first encounter with Kaleb, was hot, and so forbidden at the same time. He’s her boss out in the field, and the way he spoke to her and the things they did together, wow… just wow. It was hot, sexy, and full of fire, and it continued to get hotter and hotter each time they were together.
When these two return to the States, Kaleb wants to try to make them work, but Jade is dealing with the aftermath of their last mission and needs some time away. The distance ended up solidifying for Jade that she wanted Kaleb, so when he asks the impossible of her, she goes willingly, knowing she’s with him, as well as doing what’s right for the country.
This book was one wild and crazy ride, and the ending?! Ugh, I need it to be April RIGHT NOW so I can read FIRE and see what happens next. This would have been a five star read for me, if there was a bit less of the sex in the beginning and more story. I felt that we could have had more depth into their story and still had all the hot and sexiness that was Jade and Kaleb. Definitely looking forward to book 2 in this series as well as many others by these two amazing authors!
