In Wanted by Marissa Garner, when Kat makes uneasy discoveries at work, she turns to the one person she thinks will be able to help her - Dillon, an FBI Special Agent. It's not that easy though, because Dillon is also the man she left at the altar two years ago. She still trusts him and she still loves him, even if she is keeping secrets from him. For him to help her she doesn't need to tell her secrets though...she just needs to find out what is going on at the Diablo Beach Nuclear Power Plant. ...more

Kat Mackenzie left Dillon O'Malley at the altar two years ago, breaking his heart. She left her job, left her home, and left the love of her life without any explanation as to why. But when she discovers a major malfunction at the nuclear plant where she now works, her only hope to get answers is to contact Dillon again and pray that he doesn't blow her off - or discover the secret of why she left. Soon, Kat's concerns are realized and it becomes a race against time to avoid a devastating disast ...more

I really enjoyed this. My first by this author. Lack of communication played a huge role in this book, but oddly it worked. One character didn't communicate with the other because she was certain she was doing what was best for him. Even writing it, it shouldn't work, but it did.

Good, fast paced romantic suspense.

Review can be read at It's About The Book

An excellent, fast romance read that had characters who were well-fleshed out along with an exciting plot arc. However, much as I love this trope, I felt that it wasn’t entirely believable–but I quickly suspended disbelief like a good girl and enjoyed this story.

Kat MacKenzie knew something was going on at the nuclear faculty she was working at, but her boss continued to ignore her warnings. Was he part of the problem? Her only choice was to get help

This was an awesome romantic thriller!! Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Loved all the characters and the very unique plot. Highly recommend!

The story of Dillon and Kat is one of loving someone so much, you think your doing the right thing, but maybe it wasn't right after all. How do you contact someone who you have hurt? How do you swallow your pride because justice needs to be done. This book is beautifully written as were the first two books in the series. The characters are real, they are vulnerable. I was caught up in the story from the very beginning.
I was so graciously given this book to review by NetGalley and I didn't reali
A first rate cyber-terrorist thriller. The writing is on point. The flow was methodical and paced to keep me guessing and on the edge of my seat. This is the first book from the series, and by this author that I’ve read, but I’ve already added ‘Hunted’ and ‘Targeted’ to my TBR.

Dillon O’Malley is the perfectly flawed, emotionally stunted ‘hero’, who just happens to be an FBI agent. What’s not to love? Haunted by the endless stream of foster care homes that made up his childhood, and condemned by

Wanted is the third book in the (FBI Heat Series ) by Marissa Garner ,and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet story. Ms Garner has given us a story that will grab us and hold our attention from start to finish, and then will leave us wanting more from this author. This book is filled with some action-adventure and romance all stirred seamlessly together to give us a well developed read, and the way the author weaved an unblemished tense story flows endlessly for us. Kat Mackenzie is t ...more

Katriona is the Queen of bad decisions! She left her fiancee at the alter believing he would always resent her and the baby she carried. He had no plans on being a biological father and she loved him enough that she wanted him to have the life he wanted. She now works at the Diablo Beach Nuclear Power Plant and she knows there is something hinky going on. She's not sure how fat the rot spreads so she contacts the only person she can trust - Dillon (said ex-fiancee).

Dillon transferred to the San
The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Kat has a problem on her hands. There are things not quite adding up at work. The one person to help happens to be part of her past. Part of a past she just cut and bailed on.

Dillion was that past that Kat left behind, but know he is the key to helping fix the future of millions of lives. With the lives of millions at stake and Kat doing the asking he comes in and works to save the day. But of course there are obstacles in their way.

I did not walk in on an on-going plotline. I did not walk in

If you know me, you know I love a good romantic suspense read. It is my favourite typed of read. 'Wanted' pulled me straight into its plot twists and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Before I knew it the afternoon had passed me by and I had finished it.

When Kat feels that there is something wrong at work, she turns to her ex when no-one else will listen. Her ex Dillon is an FBI agent and the man she left at the alter two years ago.

I loved that, despite the time passing and

FBI agent Dillon pretty much hates Kat since she literally left him at the alter and disappeared. Kat believes she had no other choice but to run. Her parents supported her and even moved away with her. When Kat notices unusual things happening at the nuclear power plant where she works, Dillon is her only option for help. Unfortunately for Kat, not just Dillon, but also his colleagues refuse to deal with her. It's not until Dillon finds out her life is in danger that he becomes marginally invol ...more

Haunted is a fun cyber terrorist thriller but you have quickly suspended disbelief. Enjoy the Romantic Suspense for what it is. There is a good blend of romance to the suspense giving readers what they want.
The flow and pace were perfect keeping me on the edge of my seat never leaving the reader bored or flipping though pages to get back to the excitement.
The Characters are well flushed out but the female lead will drive you a little nutty because of her lack to be able to see past her own mist

Kat MacKenzie isn’t sure that turning to her ex-fiancé is the best thing to do, but with her instincts screaming that someone is doing something wrong at her current workplace – a nuclear power plant in the process of being decommissioned – she needs help and Dillon O’Malley is the right man for the job and the only person she can trust. The only thing is – can Dillon forgive her for what she did by leaving him at the altar, so they can work together? Read Mor

I’m Marissa Garner. I’m a wife, writer, chocoholic, and animal lover, not necessarily in that order. As a little girl, I cut pictures of people out of my mother’s magazines and turned them into characters in my simple stories. Now I write sexy paranormal romantic suspense, steamy contemporary romance, and edgy romantic thrillers. I live in sunny Southern California with my husband, but enjoy trave ...more
