I have the companion volume and refer to it frequently, I really don't see that this provides much additional info ... but I'll keep it for reference when I rework one of my gardens.

this is a companion book with Xeriscape plant guide (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/90...). Together with both books I was able to find the plants I want to add to my yard and how I want my yard to look.
