Though "Bluebirds" is a book that's long in the tooth, the information therein is still quite useful and helpful. Readers will find information about bluebird behavior, habitat, and nesting box preferences. For those interested, the author also provides helpful and detailed information about building bluebird nest boxes. Also in the book are chapters about bluebird pests, checking the bluebird boxes, and taking photographs of the birds. I found it amusing and telling to read suggestions about the best types of film to use in your camera when taking pictures of bluebirds.

Used copies of this book are readily available and well worth purchasing.
