The differences between men and women have always been stark, but they've never been more profound or irritating than they are today. This book is one of the greatest attempts to explore the men's and women's worlds. It is a guide to understanding humans and for those who still believe in the institution of marriage or healthy relationships.
The author's background alone makes this book a gem. Dr. Joy Browne is a licensed clinical psychologist and a recipient of the 1998 American Psychological Association's President's Award for contributions to the field. She also hosted a Talkshow about love and relationships.
Dr Joy Browne guides you through an in-depth analysis of human behaviour. The book explores the evolution of male behavior from primordial to postcoital and everything in between. As the author puts it, 'This book is about understanding why men act, think, talk, love, make love, stay, stray, tune out, tune in, and turn on the way they do. And, oh yeah, why they don't help much around the house.
It goes ahead to compare men or mankind with the animals of the jungle. You meet:
The LION and learn why men have to be Kings and why is that name so important to them.
The Top Dog and get to know why men care about who's up and who's down at work place.
