A cute book using insects and animals to explain the importance of safety and what children should do if they ever get lost. Roonie B. Moonie goes on an adventure and he gets lost in the forest. He gets scared and has to remember what his mother has told him about talking to strangers and staying calm. In the end, a nice ladybug helps Roonie back to his mother and he is safe again. I would recommend using this story to show children what to do if they are lost and how important it is to listen to your parents advice. I enjoy stories that teach life skills and help guide young children.

How can you not love a little bee in a propeller hat? The illustrations are just wonderful: whimsical, bright, fun! They remind us of David Kirk's Little Miss Spider. The story is well done, offering kids a reality-check without overplaying the dangers that life can present to them.
