Tosca Trevant, a Cornish gossip columnist banished to the Americas, turned amateur sleuth destined to return to England as the new crime reporter for her paper, finds her literary self embroiled (not by choice of the police of course!), in solving a murder mystery. Attending a fund raising party held by the granddaughter of one of her favorite authors in hopes of building a library to his memory and as a result garnering new attention to his books the long-time publisher falls ill. ...more
