Fearing Regret (Flawlessly Broken #2)

This is a follow up to the Finding Solace trilogy and is best read in order although it may be read as a standalone

It seems Kate Williams has it all; money, great job, a supportive family, and an amazing group of friends. What she lacks is the confidence and ability to make a good decision regarding the men in her life. After the worse break up yet, she runs into the arms

Just when I thought I was safe from crying in the wee hours of the morning, I read Fearing Regret. What I thought was going to be a feisty, somewhat angsty, and occasionally romantic experience turned out to be that and more. It made me smile and mad and then it hurt me so much I ended up sobbing and went to sleep with a sad heart.

Fearing Regret is the story of Kate and Tony but for me, it wasn’t. Not at the beginnin

Wow!!! I am still trying to get my emotions in check here to be able to write a coherent review. I absolutely LOVED this book and can't recommend it enough. Barbara's writing style is unique, at times it feels like the characters are speaking directly to you. Though its a long book, I read it in less than 12 hours....on the treadmill, stopped at red lights, the doctors office....YES, Its that good. I was quickly immersed int the world of Kate and didn't want to leave.

I'm going to go 4.5 stars on this one because I think I would rank the first half of the book 4 stars and the second half of the book 5 stars!

The only reason I'd drop a star for the first half is because at 30 years old I just thought the drinking was excessive. I'm 30something and like to drink too, but the constant shots and references to getting wasted just seemed too frequent for my taste. I also didn't take very well to Kate in the first half of the book. She seemed a bit conceited and ful

Barb does it again!! Great book! Loved the characters and plot twists! This book takes you on a ride for sure! I am loving this series!!

I love the humor in this book

"You two went rollerskating? Hahahahaha"

And I just have two words for you: breast milk ;)

Some quotes I loved:

"if this man could do this much in high school type foreplay, what would actual intercourse feel like? You bet your ass I was ready to find out. I would deal with the repercussions of my decision later. Right now in that mo

WOW I never thought I'd love this book as much as I loved the first book "Finding solace" Kate was in book one but wasn't a big character but this book Is her story.
I'm actually finding it hard to put into words right now how good this book is, without giving spoilers.
Let me just say that it will have you thinking you know what's coming then throw you in a complete other direction, I know it did me, it will have you lol and then crying your heart out. (Have the tissues ready)

I never find it fair to rate my own books because of course I'm biased. With that said, get ready to have a closer relationship with Kate Williams. She walks you through her life. The ups and downs will have you never wanting to leave the story until long after its finished. We all met her and Tony in Finding Solace but get ready to have everything you thought you knew from Sadie be undone.
The roller coaster of emotions come once again in the second installment of the Flawlessly Broken series.

I just finished reading Fearing Regret, with a smile on my face, and tears in my eyes. I am officially addicted to the Flawlessly Broken Series and look forward to more. There are so many colorful characters in this series that it could continue on and on. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It had friendship, family, funny, sad, suspense, surprise, sexual chemistry, and love. Keep them coming Barbara Speak, and I'll keep reading t

Wowza...this book filled me with quite an array of emotions. After reading Finding Solace, I knew that Barbara Speak knew how to keep you on your toes and to expect the unexpected. She didn't disappoint in this one either because I am still feeling the after effects of my blubbering yet heart warming book hangover. That being said, I

***ARC REVIEW FROM ABIBLIOPHOBIA ANONYMOUS BOOK REVIEWS***

Can you live your life constantly worrying that one day you will regret the choice you made? That is the fear Kate lives with.

Kate has it all, the great job, nice house, amazing friends, but one major thing is missing... Love.

Always picking the wrong guys has hindered Kate in taking steps in finding a forever love.

Ryan, the one she runs to when life is at its worst. He's always there to pick everything up, but he's her best friend. If eve

I honestly loved Fearing Regret.

I met Kate briefly in Finding Solace, being that she's Ash's sister.

I loved Kate's character. Kate always picked the wrong guys. Her last boyfriend turned into a crazy guy when they broke up, leaving her and her friends a bit worried.

What I really love is the friendship between all the characters. I felt like I was right there in the group partying it up with all of them.

Back to Kate.... To me , she was a girl who so badly wanted to find "the one", yet just gav

This book was amazing. This book takes you on a ride of ups, downs, and all the way around. It was breathtakingly beautiful, sweet, SCORCHING HOT, and totally a book that gave me a HUGE book hangover once I read it. I am going to give a spoiler free review because this book is full of twists, turns, and curve balls that will keep you guessing until the end!

Kate has it all... money, friends, family... or so she thinks. She does have one minor little problem: her taste in men. She sucks when it co

Fearing Regret is book two in Barbara Speak’s Flawlessly Broken Series. OMG I adored this book. Kate and Tony’s story is great! I loved Tony in book one and was kind of rooting for him and Sadie but I’m so happy he didn't get Sadie because he got his own book in a way.
The characters are so loveable and its extremely easy to connect to them, you find yourself feeling like this is your group of friends and that you know these people personally when they talk about certain things that happened in

Quiet honestly I've had to give myself a few days to process this one before doing this review. It's hard to find the words to express every feeling I have in regards to all involved in this book. Nothing I am about to write will do it justice. If you take nothing else away from this review, know that it's an amazing, heartfelt ride that will be with you long after you've finished reading it.

Ohhhh Fearing Regret!!! I am giving this book 5 well-earn, well- deserved stars! Once again Barbara Speak had me hooked from page one and hanging onto every single word.

Let me tell you, Barb KNOWS how to write a book. You instantly fall into the story of Kate Williams. She is a douche magnet and bad relationship connoisseur and she is DONE with men after her latest douche experience. With another broken heart, she is running into the arms of her best friend, Ryan. Ryan is also done, done with wa

Another amazing book from Barbara Speak. I absolute love her writing style and her books .
This book follows Kate. Kate has everything, Money, amazing friends and a loving family. However Kate doesn't have any luck when it comes to men. All she wants is a good man in her life, but instead she's dating a complete waste of space. What Kate doesn't see is what is right in front of her and has been for a very long time.
That person is Ryan, Kate's best friend. Ryan has been there for Kate through eve

Barb really has a way of getting you attached to the characters and making you feel like you're right there in the book watching it all play out. Welcome to the world of Kate, Ryan and Jarrett. Kate has decided to leave Jarrett and he’s having a hard time comprehending that. Jarrett goes on a mission to make Kate see the errors of her ways (coz that’s always a reason to keep a relationship going) when Ryan steps in to protect. This book runs concurrently with Finding Solace so it’s nice to see Ash’s relationship with Sadie develop from that perspective.

Going into the book it had been a while since I read the first, I had forgotten how much I love these characters.

This is Kate's story. Kate is the sister of ash in book one, she is feisty, stubborn, and has balls of steel, you instantly connect with her and I thought she was awesome

I read this in one sitting! I love Barb, and the way she writes is unique. Her style is first person, but reading it is like having a conversation with your best girlfriend.

In Fearing Regret, we meet Kate. She's not the best a picking boyfriends, but has a great group of friends for support. Ryan is one of her best friends. He's a great guy, very well written character that everyone loves. About halfway through the book, Barb reincorporates characters from her book Finding Solace, which I loved.
