Full disclosure: Rabbi Artson is a teacher of mine. That said, I've never had a problem in the past pointing out what I considered faults in his writing, along with pointing out the good. This book is exceptional. More than that, after reading a number of his books, I consider this his best work. Absolutely 100% needed in today's world, this spiritual resource for mentoring and leadership is applicable to both Jewish and non-Jewish leaders, whether teachers, clergy, or business professionals. Rabbi Artson was writing about Emotional Intelligence 'before it was a thing,' and in this book addresses communication skills, boundaries, and lays out framework for how to share one's life and soul openly, without losing them in the process. Highly recommended, 5/5 stars.
