Skin Deep #5

Bare Skin

Rate this book
Calland is hot, sexy, funny as hell, and rarely serious. He’s also fiercely loyal and protective of his family and friends. But they all despair that he’ll ever settle down, that he’ll ever meet the one destined to knock him on his ass (in a good way). Yeah, he’s never lacking female companionship, but it’s never serious. Yet, he still gets what he wants and he doesn’t get turned down.

Until he meets her.

Dani’s a stunning, tattooed, fiery red-head with an attitude that screams hands off. She’s a stranger in town, there with her own agenda, a ton of secrets, and a steel wall shielding her cynical heart. She’s untouchable…and Calland really wants to touch.

She’s finding that Calland is hard to resist, especially when he sets his mind on something. And that something seems to be her.

Is Dani the one that just might be able to settle Calland down, if he can get past her walls?

Or will her secrets tear them apart?

*Recommended for readers 18+ due to HOT sexual encounters, adult situations, and language.
**This is the final book in the Skin Deep Series.

Bare Skin, the fifth & final book in The Skin Deep Series by J.M. Stone is here and boy is it worth the wait! This series had me hooked from the very first line of the very first book! I've been so anxious for Calland's story and I couldn't wait to see the sexy, romantic, alpha side of everyone's favorite comedic brother! Dani & Calland are incredibly hot together and I enjoyed every minute of their love story! It's the perfect mix of sweet, sexy, mysterious & romantic with just enough alpha male thrown in to make you swoon. All of our favorite past characters return of course and the whole gang together is completely hilarious as always! This was a great end to my all time favorite series and although I am incredibly sad to see it end, I know that this author has so much more to give! I look forward to falling in love with all new characters and am ready & waiting for more of the oh so sexy TJ! Bring it on Stone!

Well, another fabulous story. I love how this story was sexy with the right amount of mystery. The characters are so relatable and just laugh out loud funny. Although I'm sad to see this series end, I know there will be more fantastic stories to come

Loved it.

Callan fell hard and fast. Loved that Dan I doesn't let him in too fast, but doesn't hold him off for long. Another great point was the TJ dynamic, and the continued air of mystery about what really happened in L.A..

Seriously there just aren't any word to describe how amazing this book was to read. When I started it I couldn't stop reading until I was done, not only for the fact that this was the final book in the series, but you've already come to love everyone one of these characters so much! Reading these books are like listening to stories told from friends or family and totally relatable. You can't help to fall more inlove with each person with each book you read, especially how she has each character so heavy involved in each book that you've already come to know and love. Can't wait to read more!

Well some one was finally captured the whore and her name is Dani. This was a insta love type book. Calland finally got his soulmate, the misunderstanding could have been avoided if Dani had just spoken up and the babies are still hella cute. I love this whole family dynamic of this group. Still LOL funny. We got to find out more about T.J and I can't wait for his book. This was the last of the series, but T.J's would be the one that will bring it all together.

I have read the entire series I liked this one it was great visiting with the other characters again I feel the previous books are important to have read otherwise you might lose some of the inside jokes. I was expecting something to happen at the end to Dani all the other books have had some violent scenes but this one didn't can't wait for TJ's book to see what his whole story is!!

Fun read

Finally calland's book! Been waiting for his crazy guy to get his turn. I love calland's crazy ways but it was so nice to see him find his person and mature just a little bit. A fun read with a happy ending. We get to see our favorite people from previous books to!

I absolutely love this series. When I read the first book I was completely hooked. Each book just draws you in deeper with all the characters. It feels like a family and so real. Am happy that Calland got his own Hea too. Can't wait for TJ's book now.

I'm not sure why so much secrecy, as it really doesn't get explained, but I'm hoping it does in T.J.'s book. Love the way Calland fell.

I was so excited for Callands story. He was such a manwhore I was ready to see a woman make him work. At first I though that Dani could do that. Then she gave in which, I was ok with. I want Calland happy and he found something that did. He changed for Dani and Kaden and he liked who he was now. The whole story annoyed me more then I wanted it to. There were to many secrets and I still don’t feel like I have all the answers. I understand we will get more in TJ’s story which is ok but I feel like this story didn’t do Calland justice. I wanted more humor and more with his family. I wanted to see more of him and Dani going through things other then him just being ok not knowing. This wasn’t what I hoped it to be. I loved Calland still and Dani grew on me but I wanted more for this story that I just feel didn’t happen.

i started this serie like a year ago when i was in my tatoo phase. the first book was kinda nice but then it went all to shit but i continued because i don't like to abandon a serie i started even if i wasn't really into it (weird i know). when i saw that this one was the last, i said what the hell it may be better. i was wrong ^^ i was bored, the "angst" was just "facepalm" and i just hoped that i would finish it quickly. i'm a little mad that we don't have the epilogue when it's said that it's the last one but have to wait for a "standalone" ... i'm not sure i'm gonna read it, not sure at all. we'll see if the curiosity get the better of me ^^

Perfect ending

The wait is over!!!! Did not take disappoint. Didn't take long to finish either. I couldn't put it down just like the rest of the series. J.M. Stone is a fantastic story teller!!! I am so glad things went the way they did for Cal! He is one of my favorites cause of his attitude. I love that you feel all emotions with these books. Your heart breaks for them but then you laugh so hard because of their family ties. I highly recommend these to everyone I talk to. I will be reading them over and over. In every book you get more of the whole family and this is no different.

Bare Skin was full of fun and humour and the family aspect that centres in all these books is a real highlight. I really liked Dani and thought she was a great addition, however, I wished her side of the story would have moved along a little quicker as it felt at times a little drawn out, however, Bare Skin was another enjoyable read from this series.

He who has the penis rules!

Calland's story is finally here and Dani is just the woman to stop his manhorish behavior but still keep his playful side. The book is part 5 in the series and was just as good as the others. I think having Emma and Luke and the other characters show up throughout this book makes it even more enjoyable. Like visiting old friends and catching up on their lives. I highly recommend that you read this series in order for maximum enjoyment.
