This is a good book by Stephanie Carnes, but it can be extremely painful for those who are partners of sex addicts. I recommend it as long as the person reading it listens to his or her body and emotions, and is willing to take time and care going through it. Definitely recommend it for therapists. For partners of addicts, it is best read with the help of a therapist to discuss it.
