Skeleton Key Book Series One Skeleton Key. Endless Adventures. https://skeletonkeybookseries.com
Ava Green has made a name for herself in the real estate world by reconditioning old, historical homes with her partner and friend Jeff. But her newest project, a three-story Victorian in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, promises to be her biggest moneymaker yet. And one she’s undertaking on her own. During her first walk-through of the house, however, she discovers a locked door, and a skeleton key that seems to appear out of nowhere. Unlocking the door, she is transported to a mystical world of fae and mythickal creatures and meets the King of the Morna. The sovereign of the Dark Elves.
King Finn Sylcan has searched for the one who can bring the magick back to his world, Edra, for eons. An old prophecy told of a female of both Dark and Light elven descent, a hybrid both Calim and Morna. It is said she is the only one who can repair the damage the war between the Dark and Light kingdoms caused. But after searching for so long, Finn never dreamed that she’d just show up outside his palace walls. Or that she’d be his mate.

Ava Green purchased a huge three-story Victorian home for herself for her newest project against advice not to. When she finds a door that she can't seem to open she comes across a skeleton key that allows her access but when stepping across the threshold she finds herself walking into a mystical world of fae and mythickal creatures and meets the King of the Morna.
Royal Enchantment is one of those reads that for me simply suffered from what I like to refer to as the novella syndrome. The story was one that was interesting enough of a fantasy read but it felt as if it's all on a fast forward speed all the way throughout which means it tends to lack details and depth that would make me truly love the book.
Ava's character was only give a brief glimpse in our world before she jumps into the fantasy world. She had received some news about her business and partner that I felt you'd get to learn more about or simply about who she was but it dove straight into the rest of the story before the blink of an eye. Then when it came to the actions in the fantasy realm it again felt rushed to get a lot of events involved in a fairly short read.
In the end this one was 3.5 stars for me. Not a bad story overall though but I would warn if you try this one out to not expect too many details or depth and just enjoy the short read.

This is an author who for some reason I always associate with Shifter stories so it was with great delight that I spotted this novella which features Elves. As I understand it the Skeleton Key series will be up to thirty standalone books written by various authors . Each adventure starts with the turning of a key and it just so happens that in this story we are led to a land of fading magic , waiting for that one person who can set it free but for Ava what lies on the other side of the door is a huge surprise! Ok I won't go into lots of details because the synopsis is quite clear and also it's a novella so it would be terribly wrong to give too much of the story away. Yes it's a romance but thankfully no instant lust, yes we get mutual attraction and that little thing known as chemistry but there's no getting jiggy straight away. The couple have a lot to contend with as Ava is a thoroughly modern miss but when we meet her she feels lonely and only really has her work . Now from the beginning we know something is very wrong there and indeed it's briefly touched on later in the story but as it's not a full length book there's unfortunately just a lack of information. What does work for this reader was the introduction of a character that I wasn't expecting. Proof positive that nature versus nurture isn't always a sure thing but I really liked that it wasn't predictable. Another plus for me was the authors take on how to punish wrong doings at the end and for me there couldn't have been a better method. So my final thoughts are if honest I really wanted more but having said that I'd happily read more from this author and hope she ventures into stories featuring the Fae again soon. There are so many Vampire and Shifter books that those such as I who enjoy paranormal are always looking for something different . I was gifted a copy of this via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
The blurb sounded really good so I thought why not. What with a skelton key and paranormal/fantasy I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into this book.
I thought that this would have been a full length novel and there is a lot of pontential to have turned this into a full length novel. It felt rushed as there was so much going on.
The heroine just happens to buy a house, with a door that will not open per conincidence she then finds the skelton key to unlock the door. This door leas to a forest where oh once again per coincidence she meets the Hero of the book. She is there to save the kingdom as there is a seer had a prediction that a hybrid could restore balance between the kingdoms. No probs get that. But..... suddenly there is a second hybrid. No, can't believe it. That is the time where I stopped reading.
Oh one more thing. A world that is like no other especially not like the human realm yet they have broccoli? Yeah dumb thing to be annoyed about but I can't help it.

**I received a free eARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**
This is the kind of book I usually enjoy. I just love fantasy, fae, romance... Pretty much everything that is said to be found in this.
Now, don't get me wrong. Royal Enchantment does include all of that, but turns out that this is a novella and, to me, everything felt rushed. There was just so much content and information to be shared, but not enough pages for the whole story to be told. I think that, had this been a full book instead of a novella, I might have enjoyed it a lot.
The plot is very interesting, we have this whole new realm that's connected to the human world, and there are many different creatures to be found. There are also two kinds of elves, the Calim and the Morna (who are not exactly the best of friends), and our heroine is a hybrid between the two, the one people have heard of from the prophecy, a young woman who is supposed to bring back the "magick" to Edra.
The romance seemed very sweet, but, again, very rushed. Finn and Ava have just met, they're mates, and they need time to get to know each other while also trying to bring back the "magick". I just didn't get enough time to believe they were really in love.
I think this had a lot of potential, but it was too short for me to appreciate it all.
This is an extremely delightful paranormal fantasy complete with a secret realm and other worldly creatures. The characters are very easy to follow and found myself swept away on their quest. It also gives the reader food for thought on possible side stories such as Kallums strange shape shifting abilities or possibly what happens to Sana. Needless to say it has all the elements to hook a reader like me in as well as keep me on the lookout for more in this series! I don't usually give a summary of the story since that can be found on a jacket. This is a very easy read and should totally satisfy any needs for a quick PNR fix! This voluntary review is based against an advance copy.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
I enjoyed reading this book. It's a story about a battle with dark and light elves. Yay I love books about elves. Ava (our heroine) stumbles into a whole new realm and discovers she is an elf and not only that but that she is fated to be mated to the king and help restore peace and magick to the realm. Ava and Finn(our Hero) have an insta attraction and Finn knows right away who and what Ava is. Ava takes a little bit of convincing but they soon find out what they can do together and how much love could be between them.
I loved the journey. I love all things paranormal and I especially love elves. The realm in which this book is set up in is magically beautiful. Ava can do and experience to much more in this world and it was fun to see her learn her new home.
Solid 4.5 stars. I will defiantly be reading the next one and many more from Lia Davis.
Finn has a firecracker on his hands where Ava is concerned that girl is sure going to liven things up for him, “together we’ll make everything right again.” She stretched up and kissed his lips softly . “ I’ll stay and be your Queen as long as it takes for us to grow annoyed with each other and one of us has to kill the other.” I enjoyed this book, and can't wait to see what happens next in this series.
I loved this fairy tale book. Ava finds a skeleton key and opens the locked door only to enter a new realm. The King of the Elves Finn now has Ava in his realm..his destiny is in his sights. Can't wait for more books from this magical realm.
Another story that feels like it's just a rough draft. I liked what I read - mostly - but there just wasn't much of it. I literally read this in less than 45 minutes. It's just... *sigh* it could have been such a great story with a bit more effort.
I quite liked it at the beginning, even though it wasn't great, I could feel it was well though-out but toward the end, I wondered if the author thought the more is merrier and my enjoyment of this story disappeared into nothingness.
Royal Enchantment Skeleton Key by Lia Davis ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lia Davis is one of my favorite romance writers and she is such a great author. I loved reading her Ashwood Falls series and this book has become another favorite. If you like Elfin romance you won't be disappointed. Reading her books will make you feel as if you have escape into another fantasy world. The characters are exciting, sexy and strong. Ms Davis allows you to share their highs and lows. Her books allows you to make new book friends. I love the magic in their life. The storyline is magical and heartwarming. But the story is full of suspense, twists and turns. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. I couldn't put my tablet down. It's compelling from the first page to the last page. Take it from me the characters are engaging, fabulous, sexy, witty and fantastic. The dialogue is passionate, realistic, and you will love the interaction between the main characters, the chemistry between the main characters is so scorching hot! This is a awesome starts to a another great series. I received a copy for my honest review. I want to give you just a small taste of this must read.
Excerpt From: Royal Enchantment Skeleton Key by Lia Davis. This material is protected by copyright. She opened the door again and let it swing wide. Holy crap. There really was a forest in one of her upstairs rooms. Well, she had asked for the earth to swallow her. She laughed at her attempt at a joke and stepped through the door. Once she crossed the threshold, the door vanished behind her. Whirling around, she scanned her surroundings. Nothing but trees, bushes, and a whole lot of nature. The house was gone. Everything was so green and full of life, almost magical. I’m definitely not in Georgia anymore. A howl like she’d never heard before cut through the trees in the distance, followed by shouts. Then the sound of horses’ hooves pounding the earth grew closer. Her heart jerked to life, beating rapidly as the howls and gallops got louder, nearer, moving in on her too fast. She was trapped like a rabbit on a fox hunt. She just had to know what was behind that door. “Charles. Heel.” The deep boom of a command came from behind the animal and sent a chill up Ava’s spine. Charles backed off but only enough for the man to step into her line of sight. Ava’s heart skipped a few beats as she stared at him. Long, black hair that appeared green in the sunlight cascaded over his shoulders, framing a beautiful yet masculine face. Heat rolled within her abdomen, spreading to the rest of her body. Desire filled her mind, dizzying. The urge to touch him was strong, almost too strong for her to ignore. What the ahah was wrong with her? “Who are you?” The man loomed over her, arms folded, revealing the most unusual markings tattooed on his forearms. His words shocked her out of the haze. Glaring at him, she mimicked his crossed-arm stance and asked her own question. “Where am I?” He narrowed his gaze on her, but she swore there was a hint of a smile on his lips. Like he approved of her attempt to be brave. “Answer my question first.”
This is a Must Read. There is lots of romance and it's Scorching HOT, You don't want to miss this book! If you are looking for a Spectacular paranormal series to read, then you want to read this series. This is a great book to add to your TBR list. I'm so excited about reading the next book in this series. I Highly Recommend this Book.
If you believe in the world of paranormal romance, the possibilities are endless and fascinating!
Ava is going to flip. No literally, she just bought a house, sight unseen, that's been empty for years, and she plans on fixing it before selling it. Her business partner, Jeff, thinks she's crazy but she needed to buy this house. Yeah, okay, that does sound a little crazy, but...reasons.
As Ava is exploring the new house, bought with some of her inheritance, she gets two surprising calls. First, Jeff has cleaned out their business office and pulled a disappearing act. Well, maybe not quite as the second call, from his soon to be ex-wife, Alice, informs Ava that Jeff has died. But don't feel bad for Alice as it didn't take her long to clean out Jeff and Ava's business account. Hey, everyone grieves differently, right? *side eyes Alice*
If only Ava could escape reality and not have to deal with all this right now...Huh, what's this key open? Oh that door, that's locked and driving me nuts? *inserts key* And now I'm in a forest...*today's earworm shall be - A Whole New World* Well, at least in my head that's what Ava was thinking.
Finn, upon seeing Ava helps her take a trip to Never, Neverland *are you now singing Enter Sandman by Metallica? I am...don't care if it shows my age. LOL*, with his elf magic as Ava refuses to cooperate. *Gee, Finn, you think she should just jump at doing as a sexy man, err strange man, says?*
Finn immediately realizes two things about Ava. Nope, I'm not going to tell you what they are. Well okay, since you begged. LOL Yeah, one isn't a secret as it's in the blurb...she's his mate. The other one? Read the book.
As Finn and Ava talk, Finn tells her about his people and their history, and Ava learns some things about herself she never knew. Although it does explain some things about herself.
How will Ava handle this revelation about her family? Will she accept that Finn is her mate? How will she handle being the queen? Can she accept her destiny, her future? How will Ava adapt to this new world that, while magical, is also not as up to date with technology as Ava is used to? Can Finn and his loyal personal guard, Kellam, keep her safe? What is the story behind Jeff's actions and death? Can Finn stop his Uncle Quinn before he succeeds with his evil plan? Is Ava the only hybrid out there? Will Finn and Ava get their happily elfin after? *I could not resist doing that. LMBO.*
One-click this book now. It's an interesting twist on the paranormal world and I liked it. It's a short story with some twists and turns that both Finn and Ava will have to navigate without losing their way or their lives.
**I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.**
I was so ever disappointed by the length of this story. The synopsis had me believed that I would read a full-length ARC novel with just the minor mistakes with some punctuation and grammar.
But it wasn’t even that.
The same goes for Finn. Other than he’s hot, strong, commanding, sexy, sweet, protective, and gorgeous, who was he?
And Edra itself! Come on, people, it’s another freaking world. A whole other world with weird creatures, unusual topography, elves, magic and obeys natural laws other than our own. It’s a WHOLE, OTHER WORLD! I want to immerse myself in it and feel that I am walking amongst the roses in Finn’s mother’s garden.
The plot to me was hurried. There was no proper build-up. No tension. I wanted it build on the danger, the mythology of the elves, the world, the prophecy, the history behind war. And then it would all come to a head in a climax that would have made me gasp and grip the pages, eagerly turning them to know if the heroes had what it takes. But it was all too easy, what our special snowflake did.
And I am not even going to talk about that instalove.
Not to say that Royal Enchantment doesn’t have potential; it does. What I want for the finished, final copy is a story of length and breadth. With fleshed characters and their backgrounds, established settings and atmosphere, you won’t go wrong.
**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: https://bookbriefs.net**Royal Enchantment is part of the Skeleton Key book series. I really love the set up of this series. It is a group of almost 30 authors, each one writing a book featuring a skeleton key that unlocks a secret world. But all of the books are vastly different. Different themes, different age groups and different sub genres. I just love that idea. So whether you like young adult, new adult or adult, you will be able to find a book for you. If you want to know more information about the series you can check out the website dedicated to the books.
Royal Enchantment is an adult fae novella by Lia Davis. A woman buys a new house, and unlocks a door to another land within it. The whole thing felt like an adult version of The Chronicles of Narnia, and I loved it. It is a novella, so I blew through this one really quickly, and I was left wanting more. In the coming weeks I am going to be reading and reviewing a handful of the books from this series. I am not sure if all of them are going to be novellas or not, but I kind of hope some of them will be full length stories, because that was my only regret with Royal Enchantment. I wanted more time with the characters.
If you love fae books, Royal Enchantment is one that you will want to check out. And further, the skeleton key series is one that I would recommend to all fans of fantasy and magic stories. I think you will be hard pressed to not find at least one of the books that appeals to you. I particularly love that there are a mix of age groups in the series. Something for fans of clean YA and adult alike.
Ava made the choice to buy the old house despite her business partner's unhappiness. When she finds a key and the mysterious door inside the old house, Ava never expected to enter a different world. When the Dark Faerie King Finn finds the stranger in the woods, he instantly knew how important she is, to him and to his world. Can Finn convince Ava of the truth before it is too late?
I liked this story, I just really wished that there was more. I could have easily read a full length novel set in this world with these characters, and I really feel like there is the potential for even a series with all different characters. I was impressed with the backbone of this novella, it was surprisingly detailed in the world building aspect. I think that the characters were not incredibly well detailed and the plot had a few holes or was just way to rushed/abrupt (the ending!). My usual complaint with novellas holds true, that either the plot or the characters are impacted by the length and I saw that here (not in the way that I was not engaged, but in the respect that I felt left hanging, like I was missing something). The book does have an insta-love thing going on, which I am not a fan of, but I can overlook it for the most part because of the whole fate/bonded aspect.
That being said, I feel like the author was able to create such an engaging world in so few pages (50ish as per my eReader). I would love to read more by this author. This was my first taste of this author's writing style and I am definitely a fan. I am highly entertained by this Skeleton Key series and the whole concept of multiple authors writing snippets that somehow interconnect. This is my second in the series so far and I can't wait to get my hands on the rest.
Lia Davis's contribution to the Skelton Key series is Royal Enchantment. It's an awesome short read. Ava buys a three story mansion in the mountains of Georgia. She just feels drawn to it. So much so she buys it without when seeing it in person. Shortly after going inside she finds a locked door that she can't open. After receiving bad news that changes her life she goes back inside and find a glass Skelton key that opens the locked door. What she finds on the other side of the door will change her life again this time forever. The magical world she steps into is amazing. Take an afternoon and read this wonderful novella. It's full of intrigue, magic, anger, hate, surprises and love. I received an ARC. This is my honest review.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. It is part of the Skeleton key series and can be read as a stand alone and has a HEA. Ava Green has lost everything on the day she takes possession of her new Victorian home she plans to fix and flip. Once she enters into Finn's world there is no going back and every minute is an adventure. Finn is king of the Dark Evles and has been waiting for his queen to appear. Now the I race for the world begins. Recommend to all paranormal reads. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Very happy reading.
Not a lot of world building. Overly sexualized. Not quite a full erotica but more that direction with the constant attraction references about every other paragraph. I wasn’t able to get into the story or characters but it had some potential. So much was left unexplained and was rushed. This would have worked better into a longer novel with more story details. And the beginning with the issues with the partner and the house didn’t go together and it just jumped in too fast. I would have loved to learn more of Kellam and other characters.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I really like the idea of this series of books. Several authors writing books about a skeleton key. Using said key, transports you on different adventures. This is the first book i have read in this series, and the first relating to Elves. I enjoyed it. Good storyline and characters. Had me turning the pages. Looking forward to reading more in this series. Would recommend.
Interesting and entertaining read. While I enjoyed this novella and it had great potential, but it was too short the romance between Ava and Finn seemed really cute and sweet but then again very rushed. I know there mates and all but felt they needed more time to get to know each other while trying to complete this complicated tasks like trying to bring the " magick" back to the kingdom. It just didn't seem to me or realistic to convince me that they were truly in love. Overall enjoyable read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC I haven't been compensated in any way.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I freely leave this honest review. This is a short but thrilling romance. Ava opens a locked door and finds her destiny. She finds family but not all are welcoming her with open arms. So much packed into a short story. I enjoyed it and look forward to more of the same from this author.
It was an okay story but seem to start from nowhere with a lot of questions and no answers. It started off with her buying a house then her partner firing her assistant and taking everything then he dies his wife takes her money and she ends up in another realm. No since of age in characters or description that you could visualize the story.
The cover and title doesn't do the story justice. It was a short novella but had a lot of world building to it. I think it could have been better if was longer but I still liked it. Ava and Fin were likeable.
I think the biggest problem with this story was the length. It was so short that everything was rushed and unbelievable. . While I like to think that I would have liked the story more if it was longer, I'm just not sure because it was all so silly. I don't know if it would have annoyed the hell out of me or pulled me in. It does have everything that would make an interesting and entertaining full novel because, really, it was a fascinating world created here. Still. I smiled enough with it the way it is and I really liked Finn so I figured I could give this 3 stars.
We start with Ava having recently purchased this old house with some of her inheritance from her parents. The morning she arrives there she finds out that her business partner just screwed her over then got killed, and his wife just stole all her money. But for some reason she really doesn't seem to care about either. She goes back in the house and finds a glass key that ends up opening a door she previously found that was locked. And which now opens up into a forest. When she steps thru, the door vanishes and she eventually finds herself face to face with a destiny she had no idea about.
Finn is the king of the dark fae. But not your usual evil dark fae, they just get their power from the moon. When he finds Ava he knows she's the one that was prophesied to bring magic back to their world. And that she is also meant to be his mate. So he takes her back to his castle with him and tries to explain everything to her.
Ava has her doubts about everything she's told but when she does something she can't otherwise explain she starts to believe. And when she learns there bigger problems to deal with than what they thought, she decides she loves Finn and after bonding with him, turns into some tough chick flinging magic everywhere and saving the day.
The instalove here was cliche but at the very least, Finn was definitely a great guy. I want to say he was swoon worthy, but I can't because we just didn't get enough development to say that.
There were just so many cool ideas here that if they were explored more would have been great. But like I said, everything was so rushed and so many things just happened...
I admit I don’t read a lot of fantasy, but I have read many of the classics, and a few fantasy romances. Unfortunately, while the premise of this book looked interesting, it didn’t end up really doing it for me.
It seemed like ROYAL ENCHANTMENT was meant to be an epic fantasy, with a complicated mythology and history, and a cast of complicated characters with multi-layered relationships. There was the skeleton of an interesting, life-or-death conflict. Unfortunately, none of these things fully materialized. The execution of the plot was a bit thin, as if the author hurried through it, or was restricted so much on length, too many things fell by the wayside.
The writing wasn’t terrible, but I was struck by how quickly events began and ended. The characters had traits, but they were more told than demonstrated by their actions. I’m not a big fan of “they were destined lovers, so they fell in love the moment they met” stories, either. Maybe this is a fantasy trope that I’m not familiar with? Actually, it’s an unfortunate habit of many PNR/UF authors as well, and it turns me off as much then also.
Ava, the heroine, is entirely too sanguine about all of the extreme changes in her life. It takes a complete 180, throws everything she has ever believed into a blender and left her with something else entirely, but she barely seems to blink before she settles right in to her new “destiny.” Worse, her entire “real” life collapses at the beginning of the book, but she doesn’t seem to care. It reads like a deux ex machina meant only to conveniently leave Ava free to stay in the faerie world with no regrets.
This plot was meant for a much longer novel, not a novella. An entire war takes place in 54 pages, and the depth of the story and characters suffers for it. Like I said, it’s not a terrible piece, but it just didn’t work for me. I think that with more time and love put into a longer book, this could really be a nice fairy tale.
Loved it. But then I love feisty women characters as well. :) It is a stand alone but leaves you wanting more. :)
This story is about Ava Green. A young woman who has done well for herself in her field of real estate with old historical buildings. Along with her partner Jeff. Ava decides to take on a project by herself, an old 3 story place in the country.
Going through the house she comes across a locked door needing a skeleton key to open. One just happens to appear. :)
She’s suddenly in a different world meeting sexy as sin Finn Syclan, King of the Dark Elves.
Finn knows she is his intended mate and loves her instantly, despite her feisty nature. Ava thinks he’s mad initially but soon learns she has well and truly left her old world for something very new and at times not so nice.
Ava quickly learns there is more to her heritage than she realised and agrees to stay for a period, so she thinks. But Finn is far more determined. :) They work together to save this new world as Ava discovers her true heritage and the past that led to her being in the world of humans.
There are a few bad ‘folks’ :), even family, but it’s a great read and I so loved the humour and Finn. They made a great couple and so full of personality. Ava does come into her own and saves the day. :) but I felt there is still more to come from these two and the supporting ‘cast’ as we need to know how they develop and meet their mates. :)
I can’t wait to read more from Lia Davis on these characters.
I received an eARC of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of this review.
Royal Enchantment by Lia Davis is an interesting adventure in the realm of Elves. Ava Green has just lost everything to her business partner when she finds a glass skeleton key that opens the door into another world. She finds herself face to face with the King of the Morna, the Dark Elves sovereign.
Ava is an interesting character, one I felt for and respected. She is alone in the world. Her parents died months apart from each other and now her only friend and business partner stabbed her in the back, taking everything from her. Angry and hurt she finds the skeleton key that takes her to the realm of the Elves. Rather than being scared, she takes it in stride, unsure of what she should be doing. While Ava is a strong character, I felt like I didn't know her that well.
As with a LOT of short stories, the plot moves fast, so fast that at times I thought I'd missed something. The premise is (and no spoilers as this occurs fairly early) that Ava is the daughter of a light and dark Elves, making her the woman that can break the curse on their land. The fantasy adventure and even the romance felt rushed. I would have liked to see it fleshed out more and with a little more details. The concept was fantastic, just not executed well.
Overall Royal Enchantment was just ok for me. It's short enough to be read in one sitting and if you like elven stories, I recommend you check it out.
This is a novella in the Skeleton Key series. Ava Green sells real estate with a partner who has mysteriously disappeared. She has just purchased an old Victorian mansion to renovate and flip. While walking through the house, she comes across an odd door and opens it with and even stranger skeleton key. On the other side is an enchanted forest peopled by elves and all manner of strange creatures. For the first time in her life, Ava feels strangely at home in a place where she has never been. She meets the Dark Elf King, Finn, who recognizes Ava as his mate, but he must convince her that they are destined to be together. A terrible war between Light and Dark elves has drained the magic from this land called Edra. After a prophecy was foretold that a hybrid of the two would bring back the magic, the elves began searching for that person.
Being a modern young woman raised in the human world, Ava is not quite convinced that she must be mated to this King, or that she can do anything to help these people. Finn gets Ava to promise to give him a chance to convince her they are meant to be, and that she is the one they have hoped who would come and save them all. Ava learns much about who her parents actually where while trying to help Finn reclaim what was lost. This is a pleasant enough story, but it seemed lacking somehow. The characters are likable;however, it all felt very rushed and predictable. I have enjoyed novels by Lia Davis more so I was a bit disappointed.
