Honor Jacobs has a dream, and she won't stop until she achieves it.
Dancing is her life, which means she has no time for men. Especially not tattoo artists with hard eyes, and a mouth that has her thinking things she shouldn't be. Staying as far away from Grey Anderson as possible is the solution to all her problems. Except that's easier said than done. And no matter how mu

I loved Young Love by Janelle Stalder. This is actually book number four in the Bloomfield series. I thought this book was great as a stand alone, and I didn't feel the need to read the other books to have a better understanding of this one. The story starts with Honor, a ballet dancer whose focus in life is her dancing career. Grey is the hot tattoo artist who she meets when Grey tattoos her friend. Grey also happens to be her neighbor as well as the uncle of one of Honor's ballet

Young Love is the fourth book in the Bloomfield series which I had no clue about when I decided to read this book. As It had been a while since I read a book featuring a dancer and I loved the title as it gives an illusion of what it could be about .So I dove into the book, knowing that we were in for something special.

Young Love tells the story of Honour and Grey, two young individuals tr

We are first introduced to Honor at a tattoo parlor. She's not getting a tattoo - she wouldn't dare! - but her friend is, and Honor is offering her support. OF COURSE the tattoo artist is a HottyMcDreamFest! (Do you really have to ask?!) 😏 Oh yes, this man is trouble.

Grey Anderson is what I like to call a Category 3: The Playa Play. He is a ladies man, he's not looking for anything serious, and he just wants to have fun.

If Grey is Category 3, Honor is Category -3. She is his opposite in every wa

Cute, sweet story. I found her meddling family to be annoying, but whatever, it all worked out in the end. I wish we saw more of their happily ever after though. They end up being each others other half.

"There was nothing sexy about dancing the waltz with Grey. And yet, there was something entirely sexy about dancing the waltz with Grey."

As soon as Janelle told me she was writing this book I just could not wait to get my hands on it. Ever since I read Janelle's debut novel Eden, I have been abolutely obsessed with all of her books. They are just incredible and Young Love was no different. I loved every single moment of this book. It was absolutely incr

This was my first time reading anything by Janelle Stalder and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this touching story. This is the story about a young couple and their struggles to get to where they needed to be before they begin an relationship. Ms. Stalder has given us a story that will suck us in and keeps us there from start to finish, and then will leave us wanting more from this author. Ms Stalder story is the perfect story of opposites attract. This is Honor Jacobs and Grey Anderson's t ...more

I love any book that Ms. Stalder produces, she is definitely an auto-buy for me! It doesn't matter if it is YA, NA, Romance, Fantasy....They are all really good! Her writing is crisp, clean and refreshing and you can never go wrong with one of her tales.

This book was definitely not an exception to the above rule. I enjoyed getting the alternating POV's of both Honor and Grey. (I love both of those names BTW!) I really enjoyed the fact that it was not insta- love and they started off trying to ha

Young Love by Janelle Stalder is the perfect story of opposites attract. Honor Jacobs and Grey Anderson are the two people in this world you would never put as a couple, yet together they are perfectly matched. Honor is a young ballerina who is more focused on dancing and school then on the men that pursue her. Grey is hot, edgy and older tattoo artist that refuses to do relationships because he doesn’t do the drama.
Honor and Grey meet by chance when Honor’s cousin Perrie gets a tattoo done by G

Grey is the bad boy tattooist that makes girls panties melt.
Honor is the straight laced ballerina.

He judged her the moment she sat down.
She judged him before that.

Neither one is appreciative of the ridiculous attraction going on. No both are clearly against it. But it's still there and after the kiss that set the world on fire, well, it seems to be lingering.

But since they are from two very different worlds, it doesn't matter, right? Well, it wouldn't have if they were on a different orbit.

Young Love is a splendid read. Honor has grown up with the love of dancing. She is starting college for teaching because her dream is to one day open her own studio. For now she's working at teaching young girls dance. Grey is a tattoo artist who likes to have fun but no serious commitment, he is over the young girls who just want to party and cause drama. Honor and Grey meet when her cousin goes in for a tattoo and they both seem to have the wrong impression of the other however they both like ...more

Sweet, sexy story of ballet dancer Honor Jacobs and tattoo artist Grey Anderson. He thinks she's too young while she doesn't think he fits into her lifestyle. But there is an unspoken attraction that both of them are trying to ignore, in spite of Grey already having a girlfriend. They couldn't be more different, but opposites do attract.
I liked the characters, especially Honor who in spite of her clean cut appearance is tough and has a chip on her shoulder that just as much matches Grey's, and

Received for an honest review.

I liked Young Love. Honor is my kind of girl, tough and feisty but also sensitive.
I liked seeing her and Grey's relationship develop but I would've liked to have seen more of them together. We get a great sense of them as friends and their individual feelings but not a great sense of them as a couple, it's hard for me to imagine them together five years down the track.
I also would've liked more depth into who Grey is and his reluctance to get involved with Honor.

This book made my heart beat faster; made by breath catch in my throat; made the butterflies in my tummy take flight.

Stories like this are devoured by readers like me. As if it were an addictive romance drug, we constantly chase the feelings that books like this deliver. I really think that if this isn't on your list of books to read, you're missing out.

This was a one sitting read.
