That. Ending!! Man I just... I just can get over it. My heart has been shattered in pieces and I'm going to spend some time mending it... Seriously, this book killed me!

This book seriously touched my heart, surprised me, and made me want to start thinking of my own "Song of the Day". I think this story takes a look at so many different topics- dealing with the loss of a parent, listening to your heart, the pain and grief of heartache, and a hint of what the afterlife could possibly be like.

I love it when I read a novel in which the ending seems to be right in front of you. Like you have it all figured out before you get to the end how it will all work out. Its the way of most novels. Then the rug gets completely pulled up from underneath it all and you're left wondering, "Well that is not how I thought it would work out." From the moment I read the title the song stuck in my head, I knew I would have to read the book.

The book is intriguing, about a young lady who lost her parents at an early age her mother walks out on her dad right after Kayla is born and her father dies when she is a toddler.

Kayla’s best friend Billy is a musician like her father was. Billy knows Kayla better than anyone, he knows everything there is to know, every dislike and every love, all of her hang ups even her dreams. Billy loves Kayla

Think of "It's A Wonderful Life" and throw in a love triangle.

Will Kayla choose Billy, her first love. Or Ryan, her current love and fiancee? Will Thomas be able to help Kayla make the right choice? Is there a wrong choice?

A nice, feel good, you want to root for the underdog love story....
