This is a light-weight, but useful tool when writing on side notes. For example, say I am doing a article on Joaquín Sorolla and I learn that he stayed in the home of Anders Zorn in Paris, I can pick up this book and get a quick date on Zorn and enough of a biography to get by for the little he comes into play in my work.
