This book was better than the last. Jason and Travis identical twins. Travis pretending to be Jason. Sleeping with Khloe. Jason shorting blanks, the baby is Travis. Killing his family. Carrie still a snake but a bigger one. Khloe knowing her father violated Carrie. What in the drama!!! This book is everything. Keeps you wanting more. I know what Jason did was wrong but I kinda want them to be together. Who knocked Khloe out. Part 3 let’s goooooo.....
I was not closing my eyes until I finished this book. There were so many twists to the story, I got dizzy. I didn't know the good guys from the bad guys. That damn Carrie had the right name with her evil self. She needs to be in a mental institution.Everyone in the story had a secret, and they were all connected like a puzzle. Poor Khloe can't seem to catch a break no matter which way she turns. That ending left the door open for much more to come.
I get that the twists are what makes the story interesting, but there's just too many of them. Ever time I think the mystery is close to resolution, another character comes out of nowhere to jumble the story more. And they're always connected some how to another character and adds to the betrayal. it got to a point where it became unbelievable and I no longer cared what happened to any of them. Sometimes less is more. Couldn't finish this and won't read the next installment.
This is some straight crazy, mixed up, off the chain story! The story grows as the pages turn. Jason had broken my heart, Travis is a stone cold fool and Carrie is something indescribable! That woman needs a straight jacket. The story flows. Some editorial errors, but good sequel. Now on to Part 3.
It seems as sometimes in life that certain people will experience heartbreak more than others. It's not fair but it is life. I am definitely looking forward to reading the next version of this intriguing and terrific series.
All of this drama and killing over an issue that Carrie has with Khloe. The sad thing about all this is Khloe doesn't know what it is and Carrie won't say.
I enjoyed the story only because I read part 1 and the first book was great. Part 2 seemed to be rushed and had numerous errors through out the whole book. I want to know what happens to Khloe so that is the only reason I'll be reading part 3. Hopefully it will be a better read grammatical wise
I have to say the constant suspense and drama kept me intrigued, but there are key factors that really hurt the book as far as the grammar and the transitions. There's no denying the author has a vivid imagination, however, it needs a bit more fine tuning.
* the same rapid pace as the previous installment *grammatical errors; words out of order in sentences *that word "ninja" again that doesn't fit with the book *the root of carrie's hatred was revealed pretty early on *story kind of drug on and felt like you were going in a circle trying to build the suspense factor
