Hmm, an sich alles eher seicht und mid-tier, aber die letzte Geschichte war so toll! Verdient eine eigene Reihe smh

Dieser Einzelband besteht aus mehreren Kurzgeschichten. Gleich vorweg: Die Zeichnungen sind richtig süß (riesige Augen, feine Linien, viele Tränen) und alle Charaktere sehen knuddelig und jung aus.
Leider finde ich alle Geschichten sehr unausgegoren und besonders zur ersten Kurzgeschichte (Ein wenig wie Romeo und Julia) hätte ich noch viel mehr wissen wollen. Besonders wie es für die beiden weiter gegangen ist.
Auch die letzte Kurzgeschichte hört genau da auf wo es gerade erst interessant wird.
Es war echt schön zu lesen aber am Ende des Tages fühlt sich alles unfertig an.

i wanted more for the first story. some kind of happy conclusion would have been nice

I've only read one Manga by Lalako Kojima before which I really liked and have read several times now, so I was excited to see a German release for one of their Manga. This is a collection of short stories which was announced on the official Tokyopop website, apparently, but wasn't mentioned in the blurb so I didn't know that and was very disappointed when the title story was over before it really began. It sounded interesting, and it started really cute.
The second story was okay but I felt really disappointed at this point.
Then the third story came along and it was so very lovely and sad and this is what I was hoping for all along so that was great. It is a love story but not exactly a boys love story, but then again, it is. It's hard to descripe. Takayama is gay, and was harshly turned down by his first love when he confessed to him. He likes the written word and is also a passionate writer himself. His schoolmates get wind of that so he finds himself in a situation where he writes love letters for them and delivers the letters by putting them in the shoe lockers of the recipients. One day the ghost of a girl who was murdered by a serial killer in front of his house takes possession of is hand to write her boyfriend, Aizawa, a letter I don't want to spoil too much so you'll have to find out yourself how the story ends but let me tell you that I was happy with the ending even though it might not be a conventional one for the genre.
If it wasn't for the last story this Manga would've been a disappointment. The first one had potential but was way too short and the second one was only okay in my opinion.

This was not what I expected. I thought it was only one story, but it was a collection of short stories and the cover story (bc of which I bought the volume) was the shortest one?? Also, especially the second couple was not healthy at all and the last story was kinda weird bc I honestly did not see anything romantic going on there .. this honestly was such a let down. only the cover story was kinda good, but as I said, WAY TOO SHORT to be the cover story. The character design was good though and the overall panelling as well. If you want some bl short stories, go for it. But you also wouldn’t miss anything, if you don’t read it. It was a nice and easy read with mediocre stories. At least the cover is beautiful.
