Interesting!
An underground knowledge of high dose vitamins helping ailments that seems to be being ignored by the medical community and big pharma. Makes perfect sense why big pharma want to protect their expensive pill popping industry and so are not so interested in funding research in this area.

But still it should be more intergrated in basic medical knowledge bases! But without the big studies to back it up it is all too anecdotal.

Still could be worth a try. Niacin in high doses seemed to have some substance...

A nice little section on general lifestyle considerations for those that are 'feeling blue' too.
Diet, exercise, movement, positive psychology, meditation, being in the now, community, connection, belonging, self love. I thought this made the book feel wholesome and not just about pushing another type of pill (vits).

With all illness we need to consider the whole and the root of the problem not just stick a plaster over it!
