Noooo. This book is not helpful. Please educate yourself properly, this book doesn’t do that.
Hamsters need at least 450 square inches of floor space.
Make sure your bedding is right for your hamster. You cannot use woods like pine and cedar for hamsters. Aspen is a safe wood.
Don’t use hamster balls.
Hamsters need at least 6 inches to properly burrow.
I’d recommend using aquariums for hamsters, cages can be iffy, especially if the bars are more than 1/2 inch apart.
Do not support hamster cage brands like Critter Tail. they’re too small.
