This book is very informative and written really well. I learned some things that I didn't know.

A good, quick overview, leaving out all sorts of details that a book written for adults would include. But it also filled in gaps in my knowledge, both about culture and history. I'm a small part Seneca by heritage, so it is of great personal interest to me.

I learned a lot about the Iroquois League. I liked learning about some of the traditions but the book seemed to skim over important stuff and leave out details. I learned a lot which was probably the point of the book but I also felt like it could've taught me more.

Light reading at best, but a good primer for those wishing to set straight a few of the more prominent legends of the Iroquois. It'll get you started.

Good basic history of the Iroquois and there confederation, or family of nations.
