What's on the Thanksgiving menu? Turkey, pumpkin pie...and the biggest fight the Wakefield household has ever seen!

For identical twins Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield, Thanksgiving has always meant food, family, and fun...but this year it means fighting! As their relatives arrive from out of town for a huge Wakefield reunion, Elizabeth and Jessica are bickering big time.

The twins' mother tells them that enough is enough—Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful. So the girls call a truce...just when Mrs. Wakefield and her sisters start to wage war!

Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.

Alice's sisters come for Thanksgiving and she becomes a Stepford wife, obsessed with giving a perfect dinner. She claims she had an idyllic childhood and never fought with her sisters, but as their families reunite over the holiday, that proves to be a big 'ol lie.

Meanwhile, the twins get into mild shenanigans with their girl cousins, but overall, a bit boring without the usual team of SVT characters.

Guys, it's been real. I want to keep reviewing, but the sheer daunting task of all before me is just too much. Instead, I have decided to now review each Sweet Valley book with a Haiku. I feel like I can get through them much faster knowing that I don't have a gigantic review waiting for me at the end. Maybe when I finish my Masters I can resume my long reviews.
