A biography of the most-wanted international terrorist in the world traces what is known of his life, past and present, from his extremely privileged upbringing in Saudi Arabia to his exile and burgeoning terrorist activities.
Does the action escalate? yes, it does in the book chapter 7 expanding operations "Western intelligence sources had known Osama Bin Laden , but he was not considered a serious threat." as you read ahead in the same chapter it talks about Osama Bin Laden working his way up doing things he was assigned to do. "By 1994, Osama Bin Laden had become a wanted man himself and traveling to Europe as well as many other locations had become extremely dangerous for him."
I think the most eye opening moment is to realize the world is more complex than just the good guys and the bad guys. It is composed of people and people make individual choices to become what they make their life purpose. I guess the real question one can ask themselves after reading about another's life is to take honest reflection on what one believes is their purpose.
