Josie is a spoiled teenage brat when the novel begins. She has just found out that she is the daughter of her father and a prostitute who was killed by her pimp, a man called Rook. She decides that she needs to teach Rook a lesson so she and her boyfriend Snaz go to his home to scare him. The only problem is that she has a gun and Rook ends up dead and his son wounded. Josie flees the county and runs to Poland, leaving her boyfriend to take the blame for the murder.

This book had a good beginning, middle, but the ending just fizzle out. I am not sure if I would recommend this book to anyone.

This book kept me intrigued throughout. Josie has decided to scare Rook but then he winds up dead and she runs. This leaves her boyfriend to take the blame for everything. I had mixed emotions through the whole book. I hoped Josie would do what was right but then again I didn't.
The whole story just makes you think and I liked that. Exploring both characters and how they handle their respective problems was interesting. I would decide what I thought should happen then read some more and change m

Can't help but love people stories especially when it comes to finding oneself after horrible events. This story not only follows Josie, but Snaz her "boyfriend". I put that in quotations, because he calls himself her boyfriend, she called him her friend and used him. Not really a shining relationship here. Josie finds out a haunting secret about Rook and his connection to her mom's death, so she decides to force Snaz to help her scare Rook. Sadly, it ends in blood and running from the law.

Is it possible to read a murder suspense story and be rooting for the murderers? Well you do in this book.

This story is told through the eyes of the two unlikely murderers.
One, Josie, "the mastermind" a young woman whom I did not like in the beginning but grew to like her more and more as the story unfolded. I love strong female characters and Josie is that. She is smart, makes her own decisions (good or bad) and owns up to them actually weighing out the consequences. At first I thought she was

Disclosure: I received this book in order to complete my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Escape to Redemption takes place in modern times. It is about 2 people , who end up committing a murder. Josie runs to Poland to save herself and leaves Snaz, her boyfriend, to take the rap. Eventually, she comes back, faces her punishment.

At first, I thought Josie was a using, conniving witch to the point I couldn’t stand her. Then I found out that she has a heart and a conscience. I also liked that

Redemption, indeed

A suspenseful book where you know who the murderers are. It sounds like the plot is already spelled out, but it is far from predicatble. The characters are intense and deep, and they grow throughout the book. Some characters were dislikable but I grew to like them and discovered how important they were to the story. It was a unique story where the reader wanted the murderers to get away with it. How strange is that?

This was a really excellent and unusual thriller. It was a real page turner, yet had an unusual spiritual message at its core. And it was convincing too - not as cheesy as my review makes it sound.

Compelling characters, a story that drew me in and an unexpected twist. Really great.
