There's a duck in my closet is a fantastic bedtime story book for those who are scared of their closets and what might be inside. This story shows a boy who is scared but then what comes out were animals in sets of two's who just cuddled and slept in the little boy's bed. Each page had words that rhymed and the illustrations were really cute and helped you visualize exactly what the animals looked like to help you see that they weren't actually scary monsters, but cute and friendly furry animals. I would have loved this book when I was younger because it was a nice change in story about what could be in your closet at night.

Definitely not the best book about being scared - though my children like the fact that the character's hair gets crazier each page until he wakes up with serious bed-head.

i like this book because there are a lot of animals and they go into a boys bed and live with him and his mom does not know about it.
