I don't remember if Lucia wears any type of rings but Cleo does. Also the figures hands look small to be guy hands. Also her clothes look really suited and rich kind of. But the castle kind of reminds you of a castle in Limeros. But see this why I think Magnus is on book 3 because of what he wears and I think he's good with arrows, lets just say the figure looks like a warrior. Well the thing is if you look closer on the cover you see two far away figures. One looks like a girl and another a man. Could be Magnus's father and Lucia. Also Magnus castle is right next to a sea. But I feel like if that's Magnus on book 3 cover, where's the snow because Limeros is covered in snow. That's why book 1 looks like Limeros because it's mysterious and hazy. Maybe the author did that to trick people IDK. Anyway my thoughts are book 1 could either be Lucia or Cleo but mainly Cleo. Book 3 Magnus because Jonas is on book 2. I don't think the author would repeat characters. I just remember that people are saying book 4 has Lucia on the cover. So book 1 is probably Cleo. (less)

You know, the first half of Frozen Tides didn't pull me in right away but the second half? HOLY CRAP. SO GOOD. SO FREAKING GOOD!
Plot twist after plot twist after plot twist. Cannot wait for the 5th book! 4.5/5 stars!

Once Upon A Time anyone?
I don't know what's the price Morgan Rhodes has to pay for her magic and shamelessly, I don't care. Because no price will ever be enough for such a mind-blowing, engrossing book as Frozen Tides.
Of course, paying for my therapy would be greatly appreciated because I'm pretty sure this

They freaking killed one of my favorite characters. And NO, I'm not saying who, but I certainly want to kill them all!

So, Jonas is still bumbling around getting a few things done here and there. But mostly getting saved by Lysandra and a new character named Olivia.

Magnus and Cleo are off in another place where Magnus is sitting the throne since that's what Prince's do and such. Of course his father will probably kill him, but that's neither here nor there. I love Magnus and Cleo. I was o

EDIT 1/1/16

I loved reading this (and OMG MAGNEO CANON YASSS) but unlike the other books, it didn't feel like there was a definite goal in this one. It felt more like a bunch of events that could have been a buildup to an actual goal, like defeating Limeros in book one or finding the Kindred in book 3. However, I still enjoyed this one and I still absolutely love the characters of this series. They've all developed very well and they feel like real people.

Cleo is legit so in control of her life
Re-read January 2018:
Still my favorite in the series. And rereading this solidified Amara as my favorite character
This exceeded my expectations which is impossible because my expectations were at an all time high. By far my favorite in the series!!

here are some ideas Rhodes should steal from me!!!:
-Lucia never opening her mouth ☺
-Jonas can either die or never again be mentioned in the series ☺
-Lucia should probably die!!! ☺
-and so should Jonas!!! ☺
-Magnus and Cleo are a ship ☺
-They should kiss a lot ☺
-They shouldn't die ☺
thanks ☺

Morgan Rhodes, you never disappoint.

I thought nothing could dethrone Rebel Spring, but Frozen Tides proved me wrong. This book is everything I needed and more.

As per usual, this novel doesn’t shy away from Falling Kingdoms’ edgy premise. From its rich and detail world building, bloody politics, conspiracy, rebellion, romance, the portrayal of justice, and how there is an ocean difference when it comes to monstrosity and beauty.

Frozen Tides opens up where Gathering Darkness wrapped it off. Cleo

This book honestly annoyed me to no end. But I'm assuming that was the goal that Morgan Rhodes was trying to achieve so therefore, Frozen Kingdoms did its job well lol.

So much happened in this book but all I remember is:

And yet, it's still not enough MAGNEO.

But other than that, all I have to say is that as much as I enjoyed this book, Gathering Darkness is still my favorite book in the series thus far. However, Frozen Tides was every bit as exciting as I thoug

Well, I guess it’s settled, Frozen Tides has become my favorite book in the series now ! It was everything I could have expected after the awesomeness that had been Gathering Darkness !

I loved that the world was expanded and that we got to meet the Emperor of Kraeshia as well as his Empire and his family. The intrigue in this book was amazing, thrilling, exciting, addictive, full of ACTION and TWISTS and PLOTS and ALLIANCES and REVENGE and LOVE a

Once again, Morgan Rhodes has left me speechless. Frozen tides absolutely EXCEEDED my expectations.
Frozen tides starts off right where Gathering Darkness left off. Amara has sailed off to Kraeshia with the water kindred, leaving Magnus, Cleo, and Nic behind in the destruction of the events that went down.
We get a couple of new POV's because, the more the merrier, right? Which is fine because it's essential to the plot of the

4.5 stars. Okay, confession? I always feel a little stupid when I've been ignoring books for months only to discover that actually, GOD, I WANT MORE. When I expressed the need to escape - which I haven't been able to do since September, if I'm being honest - my dear friend Chelsea suggested I started this series, that she recommended me *cough* months ago *cough* (I am truly an awful friend, alright). THANK YOU.

She raised her brow. "Thank me? Am I dreaming?"
"Don't worry. I'm sure it won't happen again anytime soon." Magnus drew even closer to her, and her smile faded at the edges.
"Was there something else you wanted from me?" she asked.
If only you knew, he thought. You'd probably run away from here and never look back.

Every time I pick up a book in this series the story grabs me by the throat on the first page and refuses to loosen its grip until the last, leaving me gasping for breath. Frozen Tides was no exception. The prose is slicker than water, the words flow with such ease I found myself swept away by the story and utterly immersed in the world.

I have always loved multiple POV fantasy novels and Rhodes r

Finally!! Magnus has shown he is not a person he pretends to be. No more masks from now! G.R.E.A.T!

=> In this book, I loved Magnus! And of course, Jonas too. Now I love them both equally. They both are amazing in their own way. For me at least.

This series is one of those type of books that make it impossible to explain what actually happened and how I felt about. Let me just tell you that I'm in love with this series and completely obsessed with it. I can't seem to put these books down and I'm always itching to find out what happens next.

I'm actually so sad that I have to wait for my copy of Crystal Storm to arrived. I'm so not ready to leave this world for longer than a few days. Also, how will I cope with a whole year before the ep

I have to say that this is probably my favorite book out of the whole series. I can't even really say anything because it would all be spoilers. Characters are on point. Plot is cray. I LOVE THIS SERIES SO FREAKING MUCH.

Is it bad that I sort of like Amara? She's pretty evil, but I get it...sorta? I mean what she did was deplorable and completely inexcusable. Okay I only like her a tiny tiny tiny bit when she's not a snake. LOL

King Gauis still evil. LOL KYAN is scary. And yea...hating Lucia for

Dear Lord!
This book just made it to my all-time favorites. Strong spoilers below

During the first three books, there were only two reasons why I kept reading this series, the main and first one was Magnus, and the second one was Magneo. They were the only chapters I was eager to read, the only ones that I couldn’t stop if I was in it (and yes, even if it meant having to walk back to my place WHILE reading, hands freezing and bumping into strangers because I couldn’t pay attention to anything else
