*A London Lovers Series Full Length Standalone*

Life is a series of reoccurring ripples in time.
The moment I saw her…something shifted.
The moment my lips touched hers…life got messy.
The moment my heart got involved…everything changed.

Vi Harris tests every bit of my strength.
She is my test.
My challenge.
At a time when I should be focusing entirely on myself, this radia

“I want to know you, Vi. I want to know why you stamp your foot. And what exactly you love to cook. And why you never cared to play football. Who you’ve ever dated. Why you spent six hundred pounds on a keepsake box that you’re just going to give away.” He stops in front of me. “I want it all.”

This is Amy's best book to date. By FAR! She broke my mother fucking heart, made me cry big tears, small tears, happy tears, and downright heartbroken, achingly beautiful tears.
It's not all sad. Not by a long shot. It's beautiful, uplifting, and of course has Daws' signature humour cleverly woven throughout.
A true journey. One which I lived in and devoured.
Good Job, Dawsy!

How to review this book is a challenge for me 'cuz I don't want to reveal too much. I absolutely loved reading this one. it was a heartfelt, emotional read. The connection between Vi and Hayden was not only blossoming but what they both needed. the way Vi felt all her life, losing her mother at a young age, the fear she had when she got close to someone and opened her heart. that feeling that men will always run after she exposed herself. And then there's Hayden, oh Hayden, with a dark past with ...more

Alright loves, so I'm gonna jump right to it. This book, particularly Hayden, violently ripped my soul out and shoved it back in inside out. This book is extremely raw and real in a way that so many books are not. I have to warn you though, this book was a trigger for me and it may be for some of you, so please be prepared, but also understand that this book is worth the read.
This book jumps between Hayden and Vi's POV every chap

WOW, absolutely phenomenal 5star read and what an emotional roller coaster, LOVED LOVED LOVED Hayden and Vi's story. It was so beautifully written and filled with so much emotion, oh the feels this book gave me, oi and the tears. Amy Daws knocked it out of the park with this book, it truly is the best book in the series and I am so hoping it's not the end of it, those hunky overprotective footballers need some good women to fall in love with and would love to see each of their stories. Listen up bookies! That One Moment is a book you do NOT want to miss. I was sucked in from the poetic and haunting prologue and it held on like a vice grip until the beautiful Epilogue!

First...Hayden Hayden Hayden...I'm not sure I can do this beautiful man justice, but I shall try. His story was one of survival when life throws the worst kind of pain it can at you. It was a VERY emotional rollercoaster so full of heartache, angst, courage and fight, anger and pain, love and family, loss...hope.

“That One Moment” is a standalone novel said from dual POV, it is the beautiful story of forgiveness, acceptance and all about finding your soul mate in abyss of darkness.

Hayden Clarke is given a second chance at life after he brutally tried to take his own life a year ago. Following the death of Marisa in a horrific accident four years ago, the entire Clarke family was shattered, but Hayden was the one who took it hard. When everyone else seemed to resume back to their normal

I met Amy Daws at the RT Convention earlier this year, and she was so sweet and nice, I knew I had to try one of her books soon. I picked up a signed copy of Not The One (London Lovers, #4) - but its so pretty I haven't wanted to crack the spine! So I was stoked when I saw this review opportunity for That One Moment (London Lovers #5). I have yet to read the earlier books of the London Lovers series, and I know the characters crossover quite a bit. However, Daws included enough backstory in this ...more

That One Moment is the second book in the Lost in London Series. This is a standalone but I personally loved the first book, Not The One, and I would recommend reading it just because it’s excellent. It is told from Hayden and Vi’s POV. Several familiar faces from her London Lovers Series grace the pages, especially Theo and Leslie. The story starts up about few weeks after the last chapter of Not the One ends.

It's 11:11...make a wish.

"Every moment in life is a ripple. Every day has twenty-four hours. That's one thousand, four hundred forty different chances per day that can affect the course of your life."

Hayden is trapped in this ripple effect. His sisters death has transformed his life and he is slowly spiraling out of control until he becomes "that one" the family worries about, "that one" everyone walks on egg shells around, "that one" that seems to have it all on the o

It’s really not surprising that I loved this book lets be real. I love Amy Daws and I’m always so excited to get the opportunity to read and review any of her books. Amy has such a way with words and she’s great at pulling all of my hearts strings. That One Moment is no exception. I really love the emotions that are invoked while reading her books. They make me laugh, cry, and fall in love with her characters.

“I forgot about the pain. I forgot about the cause. I forgot about everything leading up to this one incredibly profound moment. This one moment that I chose was permanent. In that one moment….I had finally erased my life forever.”

Audible Review - That One Moment, Amy Daws

"a poignant romantic love story" is how I'd describe That One Moment to readers. I had no clue what I was about to listen too, as I wasn't familiar with Amy's work, and went in blind after she kindly gifted me a copy.

I found love, Hayden and Vi just click, they banter, they stumble, they argue, they make up, they just work. It's not instalove, but it's not drawn out until the very last chapter and rushed. Hayden has a back story, it's heartbreaking in p

Speechless, absolutely speechless - This is how I have been left by this emotional rollercoaster of a book that pulled me in right from the start and had me hanging on every last one of Amy’s beautifully written words right to the end.

I was so pleased to be getting Hayden’s story, especially after reading Not the One. I have to say that I am struggling to find the words to express my love for this beautiful man who had been through uni

I was gripped by Hayden in Not the One. I was so captivated by him, and the glimpses we were shown of him and his past and his current struggle’s, and have been dying for his story. It was so worth the wait!

Oh Hayden! My heart went out to him. I wanted nothing more than to reach through the book and hug him so many times. His struggles are so real and raw. He’s been through so much and he just wants to be at peace, and it was so beautiful to see his evolution, to see him be happy.

Wow, this is a powerful book not only because of the subject matter but the emotions.

We meet Hayden in the last book and you already feel for the guy he lost his sister in a tragic way. His best friend and him were just not good for each other they feed off each other’s misery.

So when we meet Hayden in this book he is healing from his suicide attempt. And that in and of itself is amazing, esp how far he has come in only a year.

We meet Vi Harris a short snip in the last book as w

That One Moment has left me speechless. When I heard that Amy was giving us Hayden's story I was skeptical that she could top Not The One in my heart. I have never been more wrong.

First, This is London, people. London holds a certain amount of magic for me. And Amy does London so well.

Amy grabs you in the very first pages. Vi's four rough and tumble football brothers make themselves known straight away. Vi is the apple of their eye since the passing of their mother. They will do most anything

Loved book 2 in the Lost in London series, even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. Book 2 follows Hayden and Vilma and does in fact answer many questions I had about Hayden following previous books. Vilma and Hayden both have their demons and both are learning to trust each other, both have strong feelings for each other, but Hayden is struggling with his inner self even more and he may just be throwing away the best thing that has ever happened to him. Holy shit Hayden... I think he is now sitting up there as a favourite of mine. I love him.. He is a tortured soul but he is not weak... he's a strong person and this book allows us to see this.

Amy has done it again, she has reduced me to a blubbering mess. I literally want to stay in the Hayden and Vi bubble for a while longer. I absolutely loved them. “Your scars make you My Hayden.”

This has been my first book by this author and I have already one-clicked some more of her books. I definitely got the feels from this book and it really wasn't what I was expecting.

Vi has a great personality, she is easy-going and has some great one-liner. I loved the relationship between her and her Brothers. Hayden thinks he is broken and spends so much time thinking about his past that he forgets he has a future, until he meets Vi that is. Hayden's love for his niece also makes me want to sw

I was really craving some Hayden after the encounters with him in London Bound and Not the One. He had these dark cloud over him that you just wanted to see if there was anyone who could pull him out from under it. Vi comes barreling into Hayden's life along with her big, obnoxiously adorable dog. Vi has this fiery spirit about her and I adore how she holds her own with her footballer brothers. You knew it would take a special kind of girl to hold Hayden's attention. I laughed and cried and crie ...more

I actually won this in a contest, and it was a lucky win indeed! I loved Hayden and Vi's story...Vi is a happy person with a generous heart and wonderful soul...Hayden is troubled, and dark and broody...barely hanging on to the n recovery for a suicide attempt and from several years of drug and alcohol self medicating...he will never stop blaming himself for his sisters accidental death...He meets Vi and trie

If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would !!!!

I honestly did not think Amy could top Not The One, but oh boy she sailed right over it with That One Moment. Hayden (sigh), my heart just hurt so bad for him. He was such a troubled soul. I freaking loved Vi, she was a breath of fresh air with her quirky and adorable ways. This book was hauntingly beautiful. There are a handful of authors that can make you feel like you are truly inside a book when you read it and Amy has done that for me.

All audiobooks should be this way!

I’m not usually one for audiobooks. There is something totally different and very special about this one! I have read all of Amy Daws’ books to date and absolutely love them. When I heard this one was to be released in audiobook format with dual narration I was excited to hear how this would work. I saw a live preview of Will Watt and Charlotte Cole recording a couple of chapters of the book. I just wanted to go on listening! This TOTALLY changed my mind about a

^^ That there was me pretty much from the beginning of The One Moment. What we got of Hayden's story in Not The One hurt my heart, but now that we have his whole story, well I was an emotional wreck.

There are so many things in That One Moment that I can relate to. I have had those thoughts. I have done those things. I have felt the helplessness that Hayden feels in his journey.

Yes, there were plenty of tears. But they were not all sad tears. There were sad tea

This is a hard-to-put-down kind of book. I've witnessed how Hayden was buried six feet down below his sh*t hole with all his demons securely anchored to him. Then he slowly crawls back to life and into the bright side as Vi rescued him. Almost impossible for him to make it through. It was painful and heart tearing kind of emotion. I love how strong of a woman Vi was for Hayden despite her own insecurities. Hayden is painfully sexy. Overall, I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more from Am ...more

Thank you to the author, Amy Daws, for gifting me with a copy of That One Moment in exchange for an honest review!

This is the second book in a series and while it isn't totally necessary to read the previous book, I would highly recommend it as there are quite a few references to the previous book. With that in mind, let's dive in!

1. Hayden and, to a lesser extent, Vi. These two are our MC's. We get alternating POV's in this book (which I'll cover in the next bullet) between these two. I really
