160 pages including index, how to set up, maintain and stock an aquarium with one or more very large freshwater fish, details on specific fish, color illustrations
If you want to look at pictures of big fish, this is for you. If you want guidance on how to keep them and what size aquarium would be needed, forget it. The book contains fish (e.g. the Wels catfish, and Paddlefish) which are wholly unsuitable to aquarium life. You'd be much better off getting the Baensch encyclopaedias.
This was a fun read. It is a book that is simple in presentation, but a bit lacking in the serious depth of information you might get from an atlas of large fishes.
