Matt and Adam are back and this time they’re welcoming two established Master/sub pairs who want to play together. Without ruining their friendship.

Subs Peter and Max have been best friends forever, since before they met their masters. They were lovers once, but both men needed the influence of a Dom to stay on an even keel. Happily in love with their masters, Devon and S

I’ve been looking forward to another story set in the Briar Rose, a “BDSM Bed & Breakfast” run by sub Adam and his Master Matt. This time they have quite a complicated “case” to deal with: two couples who would like to become a foursome without ruining what they already have in terms of their love and their friendship. The four men have a pretty good idea about what they like and what they wish for as an outcome, but they need a little help and guidance to get there. It is quite a challenge ...more

A little better than the last one but ... yeah. I keep buying them though don't I? Is it an addiction?

Cute, but left me wanting more

Warning: This review might contain what some people consider SPOILERS.

Rating: 6/10

PROS:
- The subs are cute and the Doms are hot. And Michael manages to write them all in such a way that they're complementary without all seeming like they're just copies of one another. The men all have individual personalities.
- There are times in this story when Adam really takes on the role of mentor or big brother to the other two subs, particularly Max, and I loved seeing that.

4 1/2 stars.
I enjoyed this book set at the Briar Rose BDSM bed and breakfast, run by Adam and his master Matt. This is another complicated relationship "fix" that the B&B owners have been asked to help facilitate. Max and his Master Swan are best friends with another D/s couple, Peter and his Master Devon. Swan is very strict, which jittery Max needs. Devon is less rule-bound with his sub Peter. Peter and Max have a long history as friends, even with a sexual relationship in their past.

This book had potential but fell flat for me. The overuse of the words love, lovey, baby and Master were a real turn off for me. Best friends Peter and Max want to blend their two families because they used to be together and miss each other but the are both in love with their Doms, Devon and Swan, who also happen to be best friends. The four go to a bed and breakfast type place to seek help from Matt and Adam who run the place. There is tons of sex, lots and lots of mushy talk.

Who knew there were BDSM retreats where couples and groups can relax, have sex, eat good food and get some relationship counselling at the same time? This is an unusual, almost clinical approach to romance writing. And I’m still not completely sure I’d even call it a romance.

Two doms and their subs spend a week together attempting to merge as a foursome. Between kinky scenes and dispassionate board-room style negotiations, there is actually very little romance here. Lots of sex, lots

Blended Family is the third book in The Briar Rose series by Sean Michael. While you don’t have to read the prior books to enjoy this book, it does help understand the setting and some of the characters.

This is a complicated book with three masters and three subs. Matt and Adam are back attempting to help two masters and two subs come together into one family unit without reining their friendships. Peter and Max are both subs and best frie

Triggers: Self Harm, eating disorders
I was given this book for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.

This was an overall pleasant read. However, I was only offered this story and so I felt a bit lost - like I was thrown in to the middle of a story.

Matt and Adam seemed to be afterthoughts in this book. They were thrown in here and there, but did not really play a large role in the story, other than to have their facility being used.

Then you have the two co

description

“Peter raised his chin, begging a kiss of his own. Devon was right there, lips sliding against his for a long moment before Devon’s tongue dipped in. Oh. Oh, yes. His Devon.”

4 blended stars! I really love this series and the whole theme behind it!! Unique and refreshing!

This book was so fun!! I loved the whole idea of the BDSM bed and breakfast! The characters are fun to read about and the story is hot!! The passion each couple has for each other is sexy as f@ck!!! I can’t wait to read more tit

Devon and Peter AND Swan and Max are dominant and sub couples. Peter and Max are best friends. The four of the come to Briar Rose Inn to see if Matt and Adam can help them combine into one family. This is new to Matt and Adam and they are a little nervous. Plus, it's clear that Max has some eating issues. The four of them work with Matt and Adam who are able to help them. They believe after their week at the Inn that they can become a single family. There is a follow up book - Combine - which sh ...more

I enjoyed this book but got a little confused at times with so many characters in the story. Occasionally I got lost between 3 Masters and the 3 respective subs. While the main focus was on the blending of the 4 main characters it's just got a little messy for me at times. You certainly need no distractions when you enjoy this one !

This one was great because it took 2 couples that will all friends but had thought about being more to each other. Every man had the other one's best interests at heart. When bumps in the road show up everyone works to help make the way smooth. While their story is far from over you can see some good beginnings.

Trust, love, friendship, commitment, honestly, family. I loved this story of 2 Doms, combining the four of them to make a complete family. Many issues to overcome, but with love, support, patience and great sex, they will find the perfect setup and live a happier ever after

Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours ...more
