Searching for Riki

Rate this book
"...if you liked  The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery, then you'll love this book!"
What happens when a little girl encounters a mystical Dragon in the middle of the snow but believes she saw a  "bird with magnificent wings? " What happens when you go through life perceiving a smaller version of the greatness that lies within you?  Searching for Riki  is an enchanting story of a human being's quest into the vast Cosmos in search of an elusive dragon. It is a magical fairy tale, about  "the search"  we often embark on in our lifetime and provides intellectual pushes on the metaphor of  what we are truly searching for . Its success lies in the discovery, that we can create every reality we wish for with the LAW OF LEAST EFFORT.

"This book unfolds the deep wisdom of the Universe in the manner that it teaches life lessons without being imposingly instructional. It's about choice, dreams, and perseverance. It's about staying in tune with nature and the Universe. Almost every page contains wisdom worthy of putting on a postcard or quoting in a preface to a book. It reads like a poem or a song, you can hear the music behind it..." - Ellena Pozdorovkina

"I've read the book to my 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son. They get so silent while listening and their eyes fill with magic. I know the powerful messages of love and awareness are connecting in their minds. The life of infinite positive imagination is a marvelous message in itself. My daughter is inspired by Riki and she is also now madly in love with dragons. Thank you, Ellora for touching our lives in such a powerful and magical way." -Francesca Oscar

"Searching for Riki" is a book I imagine a reader coming back to at different stages in their life and discover something new. The messages hidden within the text only truly unfold as the reader's mind matures with their own experiences. Only then can they make the connection and apply the lessons the story alludes to. It wouldn't be a stretch to think of the possibility that this story could subconsciously guide someone through the journey in their own personal galaxy called life." -Enkai

A few nuggets to ponder but otherwise a frustrating and irritating book.

This book captivated me. It has such deep insights into our inner world, one that we often ignore as we are so caught up with our external world. It is written in a light, easy style, so easy to read yet profound in its message. It got me thinking about my journey as a human being and the things that are important. It is a book that is fun for children to read and but can keep an adult interested from the beginning to the end because of its deep insights.
I would recommend this book for all, a book that will leave us smiling and feeling good.

This book is full of entertaining worlds and people alike. One may find themselves growing in wonder about what is truly out in the universe. Along with that wonder, an interesting feeling of familiarity may come your way in seeing how with the vast universe and people involved, all that is different is truly no different deep down that you and I.

Read this book, be entertained by its vast imagination, soak up its wisdom for later, and find yourself in each and every person, especially the little girl who leads this beautiful story.

Magical!

There are times in your life when you were a child that you have this magical thinking and that when you grow up in a blink of an eye where you were already in your 30's that you forgot everything, then this book pop out and re-release your childhood memories and imagination.
If you're not fond of metaphor, then this book is not for you.
Symbolism makes this book even better to read, and I find that even adults can be young at heart too and child at times.

What a sweet and moving story!!! Rikki goes in search for her lost Dragon’s friend. During her journey she travels through exquisite places, makes unique friendships, and learns very insightful life’s lessons!!! What a treat!!! I truly recommend reading to your family and share with each other about the “life’s quote” that Rikki’s adventures highlights. It will offer a moment a reflection and bounding time with your love one’s!

This book is a refreshing read. Written in style of a fairytale for adults, with succinct but descriptive detail the book is pleasurable and engaging I did not want to put it down. I highly recommend , especially if you are interested in light, playful, humorous story with deep message of awakening.

For the deep thinker, a wonderful book for kids, teens and adults alike that challenge your grasp for metaphors.

A screenplay should be written for this book and a movie to be produced. It would rival "The Little Prince" depending on who directs. The story, graphics and message will be amazing!
