This ought to be retitled "The Basics of Losing Chess." Full of errors! Errors of grammar result in errors of instruction.
My library copy has some pen and pencil edits from lenders over the years to which I added. If you're brand new to the game, don't read this. Go watch a video of Magnus Carlsen slamming a table or something, you'll learn more

I gained some insight into the game, but this guide was riddled with typos and notation errors, some in this book luckily had been corrected by previous owners. Nice if you're completely new or without a clue, but probably not a great venue for improving your game.
