Nothing is sweeter than love.

Willa Stowe left her small town for the bright lights of New York to follow in the foot steps of her literary idol, Kurt Remington.
She didn't expect that her great apartment was actually a Craigslist scam or that she'd be broke in a new city.
With nowhere else to go, she buys a jar of jam at the Brooklyn flea and relays her story to the lady

Willa Stowe dreams of being a big time crime writer. But so far things get off to a bad start. She gets scammed out of all her money and has no place to live when she first lands in New York. But things slowly begin to look up. With the help of some new friends, she gets a place to live, a job and even a boyfriend! Enter wine maker Justin. Do these two make it? Does Willa become a writer? Or does everything blow up? You gotta read to find out! And I highly suggest you do!

This little gem was so sweet and intoxicating, I was sunk from the start. I absolutely loved this story!! Willa wants to take a huge step and move to the big Apple to further her dream of journalism. Thinking she got a once in a lifetime oppurtinity, goes for it. And when Willa makes it New York, she finds herself in a jam, let's just say--- sometimes when things look perfect, they're everything but. Willa is lucky to meet amazing people in such a scary place. One of those people being sexy, ...more

Some Kind of Love is a very sweet love story. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Young Willa lands in the big city for the first time in her life. She is a recent college graduate and aspiring author. Almost immediately she meets our jam slinging friend Leanna, from Melissa Foster’s Remington’s’ series. Leanna hires her and that is how she meets and connects with Justin, a winery owner who is a client of Leanna’s and much older than Willa. At first I couldn’t wrap ...more

Willa Stowe leaves her hometown immediately after graduating, and heads to New York, where she hopes to become a famous author like her idol, Kurt Remington.
Unfortunately, she has been scammed, and the apartment she rented via craigslist doesn't actually exist.
She wanders into a flea market in Brooklyn and buys some jam, breaking down and explaining her predicament to the kind lady behind the stall. Little does she know that Leanna (owner of Luscious Leanna's Sweet Treats) is the partner of no

Loved this book. The characters are great, Willa leaves her hometown for New York to be a writer like her hero Kurt Remmington only to be scammed and left with nothing but her suit case, she finds some unlikely friends at the farmers market and with her new job meets one hunky winery owner named Justin. Justin isn't your typical man in a romance novel which I loved, he had a hard time talking to women including Willa he didn't always have the perfect thing to say or have to be the hero that ...more

This was my first Kindle Worlds book and I wasn't sure how a different author (I'm a huge fan of Melissa Foster!) would incorporate the Remingtons. I loved it! I really enjoyed the main character's courage and determination to follow her dream of becoming a writer. After finding herself virtually homeless and broke in New York City, Willa runs into Leanna, Kirt Remington's girlfriend, and is offered a job making and delivering jam and is given a place to live! Willa shows she's willing to do ...more

A fun and entertaining novella about Willa and Justin. Willa wants to be a writer like Kurt Remington, but hasn't written anything yet. Her recent move to New York leads to the making of two wonderful female friends who help her get back and stay on her feet. In the process, she makes a delivery to an urban wine vintages where she meets Justin. The attraction between the two is instantaneous and soon they are spending every minute with each other when they are not working. And a lasting ...more

So can I say that Justin is my new favorite book boyfriend! Phew! I loved everything about this story, even Willa's unlucky but lucky start in New York! Willa gets scammed and is in a new state far from home not knowing what to do. Then she meets her guardian angel in the form of a jam maker! She meets Justin, the sexy winery owner, and everything is great until his ex comes around.
It is a funny, romantic, and lovely story and I really need more Justin. So can I say that Justin is my new

This is my second Kindle World book from The Remington series and I love how the other authors have portrayed their own characters into the Remington world. Some Kind of Love was sweet, romantic and the chemistry between Justin and Willa was undeniable. Despite the age differences, they were able to overcome all obstacles and emerge winners. Really loved their story and how everything flowed beautifully. Definitely going to check out the other stories in the Remington Kindle World series.

I have to admit I am a sucker for a love story and this one is just too cute to hate and definitely something that can only happen in a book but one can dream! Willa gets scammed but it all works out in many ways to her benefit. Vernon brings together 2 people who have issues but have a world class of friends and love ones to support them thru the ups and downs and of course love wins and so do they. Good read and a crazy cast of supporting friends bring it all together in a nice package.

I loved the two characters in this book. It starts off with a shotgun blast with Willa - small town girl landing in the big city - gets taken advantage of immediately upon her arrival in New York. But just as quickly, things turn around as she swept into the world of handsome winery owner, Justin Foster. The attractive is undeniable as they become entwined in each other's lives. I loved their passion and their fight to remain together despite very different backgrounds. Excellent romantic read.

Good quick read. Cute story. Willa, recent college grad, risks it all to move to the city to be like her fave author - Kurt Remington. Things don't go as planned and luckily she ends up at a farmers market where her luck starts to turn around. Good characters, Justin is an atypical romance hero as he is a workaholic who is uncomfortable talking to women. It is a sweet romantic story with relatable characters. You will not regret reading this one

I had an ARC copy and I loved Justin and Willa's story. She fought hard when many would have given up. I liked how Justin loves her. It was also great to see Leanne and how she handled the whole situation was spot on. I don't want to say any more as it would ruin the book. This is my first time reading a Megan Vernon novel and was very impressed. I will be reading more!!

This was a fun and lighthearted romance about a young woman set to pursue of her dreams of becoming a writer in New York City. Instead Willa Stowe got catfished. She's in New York with very little money and no brownstone apartment. Instead she meets her fairy godmothers in Leanna, the jam lady and Natacha the cheesecake lady in a tutu. The next thing she knows, she has an apartment and a job delivering jam. The icing on the cake was meeting hunk winery owner Justin Foster who seems smitten by ...more

This was a fun, quick read. Wonderful love story. I loved reading Willa and Justin's journey. I wanted to see more of them instead of the story ending.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest and unbiased opinion.

Magan Vernon has been living off of reader tears since she wrote her first short story in 2004. She now spends her time killing off fictional characters, pretending to plot while she really just watches Netflix, and she tries to do this all while her two young children run amok around her Texas ranch.

You can stalk or...er...find her online at all of these fun and happy places.
