"Happily Ticked Off" by author Andrea R. Frazer is an honest, frank, yet comical look at her life after her son's diagnose with Tourette's syndrome. This 239 page book is published by Armonia Publishing and carries a subtitle "A Tourette's Mom-Moir, When You Can't Fix the Tics Fix Yourself". It boasts an eye catching turquoise cover with one of those black and white rolling wide eye cat clocks.

Author Frazer wrote this book to support and encourage mothers who had children with Tourette's Syndrom

This book was enlightening into the everyday life of a mom handling life with special needs child. I wish I had this kind of book growing up. There was a child at my school that had Tourette's Syndrome. I still to this day remember kids making fun of him and how much it hurt. I think this is one of the reasons that Pediatric Nursing has always touched my heart. Don't get me wrong this boy had a lot of friends including me that watched out for him.
