I love second chance romances so when I see the name of a book titled Second Chances I was excited to read it. A beautifully written second chance romance!
After reading Ryder (the prequel novella to Second Chances) I have been not so patiently waiting for this book. I needed to know what was in store for Ryann and Ryder and if they could ever get an HEA.

I never was a big fan for second chance romances, but I can't express how much I'm happy that finally I got to see how Ryann and Ryders story will ends.
Honestly, the story goes differently, then I expected. Though, I can't say for sure what I expected. But different isn't bad here. I really enjoyed it. I finished reading in one go.

I was pulled right into this super short story. The story has laughs, pain, and secrets.

I enjoyed the story, but "missed" their courtship. I think that 7 month gap hurt the story a bit. However, the story we did get was good. Two people with issues...can they find a middle ground?
I loved how Ryder made the decision to be in a better place before trying to contact Ryann. Her brother is a loving snake! LOL Seriously WTG dude! By the way I hope he gets a story.

This is the follow up to the prequel Ryder by this author and what a fantastic installment it was. This book picks up months following the disappearance of Ryder... and this author did not disappoint after a semi long wait. While a fast read, this book was sexy, sweet, and suspenseful.

I absolutely LOVE a second chance and by the title I knew I would be happy with this one. The first book (novella) grabbed me and left me wanting more of this couple. It just couldn't end for them that way!!! Thank Heavens it didn't.

Second Chances is a quick read that keeps you wanting more. It's fast paced and full of surprises. I really enjoyed reading Ryann's POV. I was able to connect more with her now that we finally got a better understanding of what she's dealt with in her past. Everything with Ryder finally comes to light and it was not what I expected. It's frustrating knowing what his family put him through without giving him a chance to prove himself and his innocence. The chemistry between these two is just as i

The was much potential for angst, heartache, lies and deception (just to name a few) but there was a resurgence of insta-love that didn't seem real to me. The storyline and plot had so much going for it, but even the resolution came too conveniently for my taste. Overall I enjoyed the chemistry between Ryann and Ryder but they seemed to be on a fast pace to their HEA that a lot of what could've made for a terrific story just wasn't there.

Great ending! Ryder and Ryann's journey gets pretty intense with some unexpected twists! I'd recommend reading Ryan before Second Chances. It will give you a better reading experience. Be on the look out for my full review at Mommy's Naughty Playground
