The story is cute, but I found the illustrations to be a bit busy and overwhelming.

This is a sweet and entertaining story about a dog who has a bit of an adventure. The narrative is short and fun to read aloud and the illustrations are colorful and cartoonish. We enjoyed reading this book together.

I liked when the dog made friends and they played together. And I liked when the dog ran faster and faster and faster and jumped over the gate as high as he could and jumped right into Sally's arms.
