Bible Basics by Mark D. Taylor is a great book that explains the history of the church, events in The Bible and people that have influenced the church throughout history. This book is great for students studying theology because it includes quizzes in the beginning of the book to test your knowledge. Bible Basics also includes information about the different denominations of Chirstianity including The Roman Catholic Church, The National Baptist Convention, The United Methodist Church, The Episcopal Church, The Presbyterian Church, The Lutheran Church, The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese Church, The Southern Baptist Convention, The American Baptist Church and many more. Finally, many people and events that were in the Bible and the Christian Church are explained in this book. I would recommend this book to religious scholars or students for a great reference tool.
