Rate this book

The Eagle's Secret is a military thriller full of excitement, speeding planes, crime, killers, and kidnappings that will keep the reader on edge. The protagonist, Ido Barnea, is a pilot who nearly dies in a plane that goes out of control. He knows planes and that something has been tampered with in the plane that crashes after he ejects. He is determined to find out who and what endangered his life. He meets a woman, Naama, who plays an important role in saving his life on more than one occasion. Who is she and what part does she play in this mystery of the plane crash?

This was an enjoyable book 1 read of a series. The author uses his expertise as a pilot himself to color the story with exciting detail.

Excellent must read if you like page turning suspense

What do a crashed Israeli Air Force jet pilot and a young Mossad officer have in common? Lots suspense. More than you think. Seems Mossad thinks the crash was deliberate and sabotaged and are following the pilot. Then there's the young child that is kidnapped by the bad guys to bribe a corrupt manufacturing CEO's who is peodphile and likes little girls.

Lots action and bodies turning up murdered.
Highly recommend

What a fun read. Very superficial, but easy to read with lots of action, formulaic of course, but a feel-good type of thriller. A solid adventure book good for beaches, train rides, and rainy days.

This was an enjoyable thriller that moved along at a good pace. Whilst it could be described as formulaic – standard premise of unjustly accused hero who battles against the odds who falls in love with the main protagonist sent to capture him as he strives to clear his name and save the day - it is none the worst for this.
I liked the main characters even if some of actions carried out by them were in the ‘unbelievable’ end of the spectrum. The action scenes were well done and there was just enough detail about Mayor ‘vice’ for the reader to understand why he was being blackmailed the author did not descend to unnecessary descriptions which would not have added to the novel.
For me I am always trying to think ‘would I read this author again?’ and here I am undecided. There was nothing in it that makes me want to rush out and read other one of his books, but at the same time I wouldn’t refuse the opportunity to do so if it came it about

Another great book from a brilliant mind! I have read other books from this author and have been greatly impressed by the unique writing and excellent plots. Once again, Erez Aharoni brings us a book that is more difficult to put down than the last. If you haven't read the any of the other books by this author, I would suggest to check out "Half a Moustache" "The Eagle's Secret" and "Wildfire".

This man has some excellent international experience and it really shows in his writing. The characters really come to life. I love mystery and thrillers, this book brings those two genres together and makes you think you are in the story.

Kidnapping is always a fear in the back of our minds as parents. Reading about kidnapping just hits home, it really makes you have feelings for these characters. Excellent read!

I enjoyed the book. The plot a lot of action even with what I have heard of the security of El Al airlines, and the State of Israel concerning security. The book was good I look forward to reading more of your books.

The technical/military background made this thriller especially rewarding, and the romance is cute too.
Perfect reading for the beach--reader discretion before reading it on an airplace.
