About the author

Steven Banks has numerous writing and acting credits. He has been a head writer for several Nickelodeon series including "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron", "The Fairly Odd Parents", "CatDog", and "Sponge Bob Square Pants". His play, "Love Tapes," co-written with Penn Jillette (of Penn and Teller fame), was recently performed at the Sacred Fools Theater in Hollywood. And he created, wrote, produced, and starred as himself in "The Steven Banks Show," a comedy series which aired on PBS in the 90s.

I adored this, your kids will adore this, any fan of SpongeBob will adore this!

Cute and clever. Will surely make one laugh out loud!

SpongeBob has the suds! A sponge with suds being an illness, how funny and cute is that?!

The episode where SpongeBob has "the Suds", is one of my favorites, this matches the beloved TV show perfectly, with the illustrations being the exact same!

The first thing I noticed in the illustrations, making me chuckle, was SpongeBob's tissue box being a conch/seashell. There is SO much fun to be seen and had in the details!

This short starred SpongeBob with his illness and featured side characters such as Gary the Snail (house pet), Patrick Star- the hilarious (best friend), Sandy Cheeks (a land squirrel living underwater) being a good friend, and Mr. Krabs (being a good boss), sending his sick employee home to rest and recover.

This was adorable, funny, and literally, at the unfortunate case of SpongeBob, quite BUBBLY.

SpongeBob: For when I'm in the mood for something dumb and fun, and when his voice gets to be too much on TV, reading this is an even better experience!

I borrowed this cute, little, Nickelodeon e-book from the Amazon Prime Reading program. I was under no obligation to write a review, my honest opinion is freely given.

Another Spongebob, the last we'll see for a while I hope. My 5 yr old loved the story, he knew it because apparently it was an episode on TV as well. I thought it was quite disgusting, that every time Spongebob sneezed, pink "suds" went everywhere. It was quite...um..colorful. Wouldn't have minded a small lesson on using a handkerchief in this book. But in any case, I couldn't wait to get to the end. Silly and typical, but at least it gets kids reading.

I am not a fan of Spongebob, but when my nephew asks, I give in because he's so cute.

...my nephew, that is, not Spongebob.

Spongebob has the suds, but I'd afraid to go to the doctor thanks to Patrick scaring him. What ensues is hilarity in the form of Patrick trying to pretend he's a doctor and "treating" Spongebob.

I may not find it funny, but he did, so that's what counts.

Thankfully sponge bobby does get better at the end of this story. Thank god. Only issue I have with the book is that there’s not enough Patrick (Star) in the book.

This book can be used with a little person resisting going to the doctor when ill.

Annoying Writing, Boring, Missing the Charm of the Show

Remember the episode where Spongebob got the suds? Remember the humour in it and the amusing storyline where Patrick convinces Spongebob that the doctor is evil yet ultimately gets jealous of how well he's treated and fakes being sick only to be used as a toilet brush? Yeah, you won't find it here. This book scrubs away all the fun of the episode to make it dull, lifeless, and boring.

The grammar is clunky, the flow basically non-existent, and the ending ridiculous. Basically, Spongebob goes to the doctor and is given medicine then Patrick runs away in terror because there's an old magazine in the waiting room. Just... what?

If someone has a child interested in Spongebob, then it's almost guaranteed the child has watched the show. So why try to sanitize it to this degree? All that does is ruin a somewhat entertaining story and make it boring. Highly disappointed by this book, and would not recommend it for the young Spongebob fans in my family.

Supernatural is a TV show that two brothers go around saving the world from these monsters. Their names are Sam and Dean they are called the Winchester brothers. Their father and mother died and they try and revenge them. There is a demon that killed their mother and they are trying to kill it and that's how they are avenging their parents.
I recommend this show to anybody who likes ghosts, demons and, other kind of monsters. It is a scary show so some people probably couldn't watch it so just a fair warning before you watch it. It is a very long show and it will last you a long time so for people who have a lot of time on your hands you should try out this show. I think the lesson of the TV show is to stay together with your family because Sam and Dean never split up and always have their backs.

The book is a good book for children who know they do not feel well but proceed to do activities when they need to rest. Sponge bob is an example of a kid who doesn't feel well but still want to play out but in spongebobs case, he want to work. This is a nice picture book for 1st grade an up. I say 1st grade because kids under that grade level usually do not know when they are sick because they do not know what being sick feel like. If a kid was to read this book alone, they would more so try to tell the story from the pictures instead of reading the words. I like the book overall, its funny because he was afraid to go to the doctors for all of the wrong reasons. What kids can also learn from this book is that the doctors is not a bad place to go. Doctors help people get better. Its a learning book for children.

Summary\slingshot was sick but he still went to work when he sneezed in the kitchen after Mr Krabs said it he was fine then he had to go home because he was sick he called Sandy to bring him to the doc then Patrick said are you going Skiing Spongebob said no I'm going to the doctor then Patrick said all the things that they make you do then he didn't want to go so Patrick was the doc SpongeBob tried to call but his fingers where to big so Patrick did it instead they tried to cancel the Sandy to not being him but she was still coming she rolled SpongeBob down the hill then went to the doc

I Choose this Rating cuz it's good for kids and it was a really good book
