Michael LeFebvre is pastor of Christ Church Reformed Presbyterian Church in the western suburbs of Indianapolis. He previously studied Old Testament Law at PhD Level at Aberdeen University. He is married to Heather and they have four children.

Ecclesiastes can seem very depressing, but its honesty about the harsh realities of life are necessary for Christians who are taught that following God brings blessings. This book shows how the fear of the Lord is our basis for joy, and life's seeming unfairness does not need to make us depressed. The author's fascinating exegesis of the original Hebrew text illuminates passages that may seem confusing on the surface. The book is a fantastic devotional commentary, very applicable and relevant to our everyday lives.
