Bailey presents some great concepts but many broad generalizations.
The idea of stress being self induced is not from one who worked at a CPA firm or with many attorneys.
As far as the past being an illusion of memory, it’s not recommended to use that to get out of a speeding ticket.

I have always thought of this book, and Joe Bailey's other work, as a gift. He is a wise man, and I would recommend this book or his other work to anyone.

After recently discovering the "Three Principles", I found this book an interesting insight into helping people become more comfortable with themselves ("serenity") and understand how their own thoughts control their own reality.

The implications for anyone suffering from addiction of any kind are profound, as are the implications for anyone working with those with addiction. It encourages people to find the source of their recovery within themselves, rather than relying on traditional methods.

Life changing! Remember, we are all broken in one way or another, so don't think this book is just for druggies or alcoholics. It's for everyone.
