Not sure why people are giving this cookbook only a couple stars. Obviously, to enjoy the recipes in this book, you need to like bacon, which I do. Some of the recipe's flavor combinations sound a bit odd to me, but I'm not a bacon as dessert kind of person. Most of the appetizers and entrees sound delicious! You don't need to use the recommended bacon that's listed in the recipes as it will not be available to most persons grabbing this cook book. I'm excited to try the bacon chili and the bacon meatloaf; the bacon au gratin potatoes also sound delicious. I like how the recipes include a difficulty rating, 1-5 bacon strips. The recipes themselves are well presented with easy to follow instructions and ingredient lists. The only thing I would improve is to have more photos of the finished recipes.
