Three years after the war Hermione is hesitant to say "Yes" to Ron's proposal, she suggests a break for the summer & accepts a job at Ollivander's Wands .. What she doesn't know is that she'll be working side by side with Draco Malfoy, whose actions - and everyone else- says he has changed in those 3 years but has he really ?!
Hermione starts the summer break with an open mind, traveling the world, doing things she only read about & making new friends & possibly more ?!
By the end of the summer she must decide what she really wants & what she's willing to sacrifice for it.

This is the second FanFic I read by Lena -but this one was written before the one I already read (Cruel & Beautiful World)- it was pretty good & I enjoyed it so much .. Dramione is one of my top favorite ships 🥰

The writing was so good & I liked all the new characters & how the original characters remained true to their personalities .. I liked the familiarity if the wizarding world with its characters & places but I also liked the new additions the author brought to the story & how it made it fit perfectly with this world 👌🏻

If you are looking for a light, summer adventure fic featuring Hermione, Draco, and 2 OCs on the hunt for various wand ingredients, this is it! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this. It was cute and silly with a side of spice.

The story focuses on Hermione and Ron taking a break from their relationship for the summer while Hermione works for Ollivander procuring wand ingredients. Little did she know, Draco and 2 others would be joining her on this adventure.

Not going to lie, the break aspect bothers me so much, but it did not take away from the story for me. It's just irritating lol. I enjoyed reading about their adventures and the blossoming Draco/Hermione relationship. I felt bad for Ron but I liked the resolution. All in all, I recommend it.

Some problematic issues with Hermione that didn’t sit right with me. One being she is away trying to “find herself” and even though she asked for a break, over the summer only, from Ron, she just jumped right to the first person available. I would have been on board a bit better had Ron felt the same. It becomes quickly known that he is crazy about her and that she loves him too but you don’t do this to someone you love. He is a good guy, it felt like cheating to me. I didn’t like that and by the time she did another questionable thing to Draco, well before the 50% mark, I knew I would struggle to continue.

The other parts of the story were so good too and that frustrates me because of my disappointed with Hermione’s characterization.

I felt this fic could've been something amazing, the idea behind it really had me hooked towards the beginning but I felt the writing was a little boring (perhaps because it is after all 400,000+ words). I also felt that characters were a little off. I found Hermione to be quite selfish and a little cruel.

I don't want to give too much away so I'll leave it at that.

Excellent idea but the writing itself wasn't great. The story was cute but definitely had a lot more potential. Lena's a great author tho so I know I'm gonna continue reading her fics.

Omg I've been wanting dramoine, and I can't help but read this over and over again. I loved them connecting things for Olivanders and going to the candy witch was amazing. The scene where Hermione is in the red wood forest was the best when Draco finally says something and they just sit.

Hermione and Draco graduated from Hogwarts and looking for an internship at Ollivanders. Only a handfull of people are the lucky ones to be selected and be teached the art of Wand making, by Ollivander himself. Luckily both Hermione and Draco are selected and now they're faced with different tasks to complete so that they're taught to make Wands.

It is no secret that Cruel and Beautiful World is my favorite Dramione fanfic and since this was written by the same author, I just had to read it. Unfortunately it was nothing like CaBW.
The whole story is written more light hearted and it read more like a funny fic than anything else. The characters were far from canonly written and there were more OC characters than our favorite HP ones.
I did DNF this somewhere along the lines and I'm never looking back.

I needed another story from Lena so bad I couldn't resist to read this one. At first is a bit slow but I couldn't stop laughing and loving how hilarious it got during their trips and relationships developments. The way Draco and Hermione get together isn't as magical and "meant to be" as others stories choose to approach this couple but it works. You really get invested in them and the other couples in the story! You might not like some character at the beginning but you get in love with them along the way... they grow on you!
The ending was unexpected to say the least, haha! And a bit crazy.. but totally makes sense considering the nature of the perpetrator.
It was fun to read, has bits of awesome humor and sets a good mood and story background for the next part.
