This was a good Franklin book... Franklin the turtle's dad starts out not very good. Seems like everything is going bad for him. So he decides to run away. Along the way where he walks he starts to think and remember all the things he does with his parents, his little sister, his friends and his teacher and he realizes that he doesn't want to run away any more. This would help a child to understand that just because you have a bad moment, or morning etc that it will be okay in the end.

09/09: Poor Franklin. Things just aren't going well for him. So, he runs away. He doesn't get far, though before he realizes he misses his home, his family (even his baby sister) and his friends.
