This book made me laughed.
It was like the author tried to crammed everything into a book of 124 pages. From hero's sex addiction, from the heroine being so unprofessional, to a lying manipulative ex husband, from an ex husband who kidnapped babies, bombs, hero's rape when he was a teenager, his vasectomy, his marriage with a woman who lied to him about being pregnant.
Do I think the hero is miraculously cured by the heroine's amazing p***y like the author made the readers believe? No. Now I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure there's no cure for sex addiction.
Safety: once the hero meets his new addiction he's miraculously cured of his obsession with f**king anything and everything with a vagina, he doesn't sleep with anyone after meeting his new addiction.

Lieutenant Asher Cunningham strives to be a man in control. He is respected by his peers and he is idolized by woman. With a click of his fingers, women are lining up for his sexual charms. However, he knows that every time he has sex, he feels empty and disconnected. He believes he is a sex addict and he seeks out professional help for his problem. Dr Marley Bennett is a psychiatrist who at all times strives to be professional. When the two meet, the attraction is instant but Marley knows she needs to help her client and stay focused. The few sessions they have, Asher opens up about his past. Something he has never told anybody about. Is he a sex addict or someone who has just used sex to claim back his control? Marley can’t help the attraction she has for her client and when things become too complicated, she opts to resign herself from being Asher’s’ Doctor. But Asher is not going to let her go and he works his way into her heart as well as her daughters. When Marley’s ex-husband does the unthinkable, Asher knows that he will do anything to get his girls back. The story had lots of information and at times I felt like there was too much story. I almost felt like there were two stories happening here. One being Asher and Marley and the other being her Ex-husband and his atrocities that he committed and found himself in. However that did not take away from the great read that Ms Langston has given us. The writing flowed, the characters were charming and the plot twists were unexpected, but good. Asher was definitely a dirty, talking, Alpha male and never gave up on being in control. I enjoyed the sweet moments he had with Marley’s daughter as that showed his compassion and softer side. Overall I think this was a wonderful addition to the series.

Words cannot explain the excitement I had when this book had a release date. I missed these Brothers in Blue something fierce. This series has always been the epitome of a quick, hot, and action filled read and Asher’s story did not disappoint. This short but amazing forbidden romance definitely called to my need of a wild/naughty read.
Asher was definitely all the alpha I would expect coming from a Cunningham brother. He is a man who craves and demands control but he is admirable on how he uses that for good in his job rather than stray to the crooked side. His backstory is honestly one of the most heartbreaking I have read in a long time. It definitely took me a minute to get myself together enough to continue reading. His soft and loving approach with Marley’s daughter Lyla was my favorite thing about him as it shows just how badly he really needs (and wants deep down) deep connections to those he loves.
Marley is a single mom so I automatically liked her. There will never be anything more powerful and respected to me than a mom doing her best to provide for her child(ren) on her own. Despite obviously knowing quite a bit of psychology it, she really struggled with the “why and how” on her feelings towards Asher. I found this fascinating as it proves that when it comes to love, some things are just pure chemistry with no explanation. It is apparent she always has a need for control, but bends willingly in the heat of the moment and later on she even bends outside of the bedroom for Asher’s sanity. She really is just what he needed.
Again, this book is super hot and is even a little kinky. Some of the scenes will be burned to the front of my memories for a long time. Asher’s story is the perfect fit for the amazing series.

Ooh la la …. Officer Cunningham
I’m not gonna lie, when Asher revealed his “illness” at the end of The Sergeant’s Protection it made me a little gun shy about going into his book… Well I’m here to say don’t be like me!!!! Asher was everything and he is my favorite of this series so far!!!!
There is so much more to Lieutenant Cunningham, he is not at all what he would have you believe. He is an honorable, dedicated and highly respected police officer with a heartbreaking backstory. He is set in his ways and has accepted his fate, but at the same time he is man enough to know he needs some help. It’s when he goes for that help, that his whole world as he knows it, gets quite literally tilted on its axis.
Sweet Marley just didn’t stand a chance when Asher entered her world. She had no idea what was coming for her when she scheduled that first appointment for Asher. She quickly learns though, that she holds all the secrets on how to make Asher into the man that he so very much desires to be, even if he really doesn’t know it yet.
This was such a great great story! Watching these two come together, holy hell… I was blushing for her! This man’s boldness knows no bounds! I mean the words that come out of his mouth, dear lord, had me routing for both of them…. Him to get his prize and her to just accept what he was offering because OMG we should all be so lucky to have an Asher in our life and beds lol…

Holy Pokey Poop lol. Asher is amazing. He stole the show for me. Ms Langston has done it yet again. Fuck I love this brothers series she gives us.
This book is about Asher. As we know from previous books he has an addiction and when he seeks help that's when his whole world changes.
Marley is a single mum to the most adorable little girl. These two are so perfect and just what the doctor ordered for Asher.
Marley's ex is a real shit piece of work. Asher sets him real straight and until Karma the Bitch shows Her Ex how she works.
This book packs a punch even though it's a novella it's still Amazing. Has everything we love from a longer story that is a promise.
Marley and Asher's chemistry will set your body on fire. These two are hot and kinky. You may need a clean panty once you done reading this story.

From the moment he walks through her door, Asher realizes he wants more from her than a night in her bed. He feels comfortable sharing his past with her and enjoys being around her.
Marley can hardly keep her professional self together when Asher walks in. She’s drawn to him. Not only does he have the looks, but his words...holy dirty talk Batman! He’s the first man in years to make her feel, but she’s worried about her practice and four year old daughter Lyla. Little does she know, his fierce protectiveness is exactly what she needs.

Having snagged little bits and pieces about Asher in the previous books, I couldn't wait to get his full story. And the blurb was super enticing, so how could I resist, right?! Listen, realistically, I know it would never be wise to be involved in a therapist/patient relationship; especially when that patient is seeking help for what he thinks is a sex addiction, but in this story--Asher's story?! It worked for me. I was already rooting for Asher and Marley, but it did nothing to quell the tight feeling in the pit of my stomach while I was anxiously wondering what was in store for these two. Let me tell you, I was nervous as heck the more I read about Marley's ex-husband. I knew that he would put Marley and their daughter in a situation that would definitely require Asher's abilities.
I must say, Asher was very intense. Everything about him commanded others to sit up and pay attention. He definitely does not mince words, so yeah, be prepared for the gush of emotions as well as desires that seem to leap to life in his presence and with every word that falls from his lips. Whew, child! Can you say Mr. Dirty Talker?!🔥🔥I don't think poor Marley, aka Doc ever stood a chance against that magnetic pull of Lieutenant Asher Cunningham.
And as for Asher, meeting the doc was the best thing to have ever happened to him, and I'm not just talking about the therapy!👀 Asher was seeking help for what he thought was an unhealthy addiction to sex. What happened to him as a teenager was obviously life-changing, but he kept those events and emotions bottled up way too long. The more he opened up to Marley, the more it seemed less like an addiction to sex, and more like self-medicating with sex. Instead of breaking down and telling his family about what happened, Asher started using sex to gain back control that was taken from him years ago. It might seem unusual or different, but it's not that uncommon for some people who have suffered horrible physical and/or sexual experiences to actually use sex as a coping mechanism.
Something about Marley had Asher under a spell, but that seems to be the Cunningham trait when they meet the women they're meant to spend their lives with. It's "all in" from the very first moment these brothers first get eyes on their women.
I would have loved for this story to have ended with, or included Asher finally admitting to his family what happened to him--even if he had only told Justin, who he was the closest to. I mean, it would have meant a lot to me as a reader if he'd opened to his parents, but I get why he didn't or couldn't. Since all of these stories are intertwined with each other one way or the other, maybe there's still a chance that it could happen. Although I could probably guess how they'd react, I would be very interested in their response.

For a long time, I thought I was broken. I read books that others were claiming had made them break down and cry, and I would read these books, and not shed a tear. Well, K has finally broken me of that curse! I will not mention which part, as it may be spoilerific, but one part of this book actually had me reaching for a tissue!
I love a good forbidden romance, and therapist/patient is as forbidden as it gets! When done right, the push and pull of the relationship, the want and desire can make us root for the underdogs, wanting them to have their HEA, even if the law forbids it. (And Asher would know, since he IS the law!) Marley, trying to stick to her morals, fights Asher at every advance. But eventually, she has to give in, and when she does, the chemistry explodes!
Marley is a single mom, and I love her relationship with her little girl. Asher has an instance connection with her, and it will make your heart melt!
Towards the end of the book, the drama and action really takes off, and I found myself late to work one day, because I HAD to know how it ended! K is the master of transitioning from a steamy romance to action packed suspense, all in one chapter, and I loved it!
I know there was a little bit of a delay in the release of this book, but I want to thank K for it. Sounds weird, right? But this shows the integrity of her work ethics. She didn't want to present us with anything less than her everything, and that shows in this book. Perfection, and I would've waited twice as long for this book, as long as it was this one!

Holy freaking Hotness!! Asher and Marley seriously burn these pages to ashes with all chemistry. From page one to epilogue you can feel the undeniable pull between these two.
The day Asher walks in to his new therapist office to get help for his "addiction to sex", he realizes seeing her is just like adding gasoline to a fire. She is the hottest woman he has ever seen, but there is something different about her. Something more. Someone he can share all his past demons without the judgement or pity. He vows to not only get inside her pants but her heart as well.
Marley nearly loses it when her newest patient walks in like sex on a stick. All her ethical ways go out the window with this one. She knows he will be more than a patient to her, but she has so much more too loose than just her practice, she also has Lyla her 4-year-old daughter.
Marley's ex-husband threatens all their lives with is dirty business. But of course, there is always those amazing Cunningham boys to the rescue. Not only does Asher and his partner Danny save Marley and Lyla, but also possibly so many other unsuspected families that they have been preying on over the past years.
This Cunningham brother is most definitely my favorite so far, and ahhhhh I do love an amazingly sweet HEA!!!!!! K.... you did it girl! You rocked Asher like I knew you could. He is AMAZING! Keep these Cunningham's coming!

Holy Doritos Batman! Just when I thought the Cunningham brothers couldn’t get better... it did.
We start off Dirty Mouthed Asher’s book with a bang... well not so much the type of bang Asher would have wanted from page one. Anywho, we start Asher’s book when he first meets Dr. Marley’s office. Marley isn’t your typical doctor, nope she’s a therapist. And why would hottie Asher need therapy? He’s a sex addict! (I mean I wouldn’t have a problem w that bc did I mention his dirty mouth? Oh the things that man says)
Marley is more than just a therapist. She has her own issues that comes in the form of her Ex! But then we have sweet Layla.

Marley and Asher must be one of my most favourite couples ever!
I sat waiting for the action to begin and when it did I was shocked to the core. I did not expect what came.
Asher is one hot Lieutenant. Having to seek help from a therapist for an addiction he meet Marley (his therapist). The chemistry between them is so HOT. The words that come from his mouth are enough to make your panties melt.
Marley doesn't want to be attracted to Asher . However, her body has other ideas. Not only does he have the looks and the body. Those words, the way he makes her feel is beyond anything she has ever felt before.
When the time comes though will Asher be able to protect Marley and her daughter Layla?
Layla is one cute little girl. She can wrap Asher round her little finger.
I would deffinatly recommend this book and if you have not read the other books in the series, where have you been?

Can I just say that Asher is an alpha through and through. From start to finish K had me so engrossed and invested in these characters. The development of their relationship felt real and you could feel the emotions coming right off the page.
Marley is such an amazing heroine. She is kind, giving, and absolutely perfect for Asher. Her relationship with her best friend Peter is freaking hysterical. The stuff that comes out of his mouth had me laughing so loud my husband was questioning my sanity.
“Did you tell him to go eat a bowl of alphabet soup and choke on a D.”
Lyla was such a surprising little thing. Her relationship with Asher grows and it is the sweetest most innocent thing ever. Princess Ashland is so amazing with her and caring and patient. I can’t wait for everyone to read this book and experience the awesomeness of K Langston.

This is the fourth book in the Brothers in Blue series and probably the one I was most looking forward to. This book is hot! It’s a quick read and I was hooked from the beginning.

And once again, she kills it. I loved everything that was Asher and Marley. These two were hot together, but I also loved how much more there was to Asher. He is truly amazing. Whenyou hear the words sex addict, you tend to think of the negative viewpoints of what those words mean. But with this story, the more you dive into Asher, the more you realize that sex addicts don't equal bad people. I went into this thinking there would be a huge suspenseful plot twist and it did have great twists, but I felt like this book allows people to open their eyes to how good therapy could help any type of addict.
Great read! I couldn't put it down, read it non-stop in a day and everybody has to get onto the Asher boat, he's so swoony and sexy and full of tattoos.

Oh Asher, Asher, Asher!
This poor misguided sexy as hell dirty talking alpha policeman is just what I was in the mood for when I opened this book.
Once again, K Langston knocks another one out of the park with the Brothers in Blue.
Asher made me a little leery of him when I realized that going into the story I was dealing with a sex addiction. I have only read few sex addiction books and only one was a hit. However, I was in a big surprise! I loved the direction that the author took with this character. I loved his growth, his dirty mouth, his capability to fall in love so deep. Marley could not have been a better female written for him and their story flowed perfectly!
Cannot wait for more of these Brothers in Blue!

Marley is a single mom who has been alone for a while and the urges she feels when shes around Asher make her nervous and confused. she fights her feelings until Asher breaks her down and makes her see that their mutual attraction is more than just physical.
the pull between the 2 is so magnetic and their love for each other is so evident. K, you did it again❤

This book will take you through a emotional roller coaster....mostly sexual frustration. Asher is pure alpha male just like his brothers and in the previous book we did not get a very good look at why he was the way he was..WE find out he has a sex addiction and needs help from Marlee,who is very timid and shy at first but shows her strength when her family is threatened. there relationship is tested but they stick together through the end and have there HEA . Can not wait for the other books in the series.

In this next book we follow Asher Cunningham who is struggling with the addiction that he has and he thinks that Marley can be the solution for him. She has her own struggle that is going through. She is insanely attracted to him, but he is her patient.
The story does dabble in that taboo relationship between a psychiatrist and their patient. I liked reading the struggle of doing what is right by your job and what your heart wants. That is probably the best part of the story, but the way that it ended was a little disappointing. I was expecting some big blow out where she would be made, but that never happened and seemed a little bit of a letdown.
The real ending though, did make up for that though. It was like watching an action movie unfold on the pages as you try to find out what is going to happen in the end. Once you get to that point, you are not going to want to stop until you get to the end.

This is book 4 in the Brothers in Blue series and is Asher and Marley’s story. Straight off the bat I knew there was no putting this book down especially with the twist I did not see coming. Marley was such a strong and sweet heroine and little Lyla stole my heart. Asher was all hot and alpha and I floved it! Dare I say it, he’s possibly my new favourite! Sshh, don’t tell Reid!
